AMAZING MACHINE!
I read soooo many reviews before choosing this one. I have used it twice at community events, probably making about 25 buttons each time. There is a small learning curve but the directions ON THIS PAGE are correct. The directions sent with the machine are incorrect and I felt the seller makes this info known every step of the way. There are a couple times where I had a button that did not come together cleanly, the mylar wouldn't be tightly sealed. I have troubleshooted this and for me, what was happening was that the kids were using a lot of marker on the paper, and the paper was curling up, in the shape of a Pringle. So I gently shaped the paper so it would fit in the cup better, the edges of the paper now curling more down in the cup. Ever since I figured that out, I have not have any issues.I love this machine so much, I will be buying one for myself. I chose the 3" so kids would have more room to color and draw but now that I see how it works, I want one of the interchangeable sizes for personal use.Honestly, I can't say enough about it.

It stopped lining up, I’ve lost more than I gained
This machine worked fine for the first 6 buttons. After that, the machine rotates the top of the buttons and now everyone I press won’t one up with the bottom once together and the backs are crooked.

Not a good idea
It worked the first time and I just made a button with no photo. When I actually tried to do it, it doesn't work. I am planning to return. Instructions are horrible.

It works!! Don’t give up!
This button maker works. It is great for the money. However, the instructions are written poorly and if you’ve never used a button maker before it takes some time to figure out. The instructions are written in poor English which makes it a little harder to understand. One of the photos demonstrates the wrong end of the machine being installed first, which threw us off for a while, until we tried putting it in the opposite way from what was being shown. You have to slide the tray from left to right. Also, on the final step you really have to push down hard until you almost feel like you are going to break the machine. Because it isn’t made of metal I was scared it was going to snap but I didn’t. Once I got more comfortable with pushing down on the lever until it came all the way down, I was pumping out button after button. Give yourself some time to get used to it and it works. Don’t give up!

Would Recommend
I recently purchased the Button Maker Machine 75mm, 3-inch Green Badge Pin Press Button Making Kit with 400Pcs Free Blanks from Amazon, and I am very pleased with my purchase. The product was exactly as expected, and the finished results were fantastic. As a first-time user, I found the design of this button maker to be very user-friendly. The instructions were clear, and the process was straightforward, making it suitable for anyone at any skill level. The kit includes everything you need to get started, which was very convenient. The buttons I made came out looking professional, and the machine worked flawlessly. I would highly recommend this button maker to anyone interested in creating custom buttons, whether you're a beginner or more experienced.

Disappointed.
I had high hopes for this one but it dissappoinyed me. First it’s too flimsy that the screws unscrew a lot and won’t hold still. The button isn’t lining up after 5th used. The paper and the clear plastic isn’t locking in place. The instructions were pretty confusing (might 18 year old was building it) BUT since I have one from before I knew what to do and was able to fix it. Also it can’t hold thick paper (like photo paper) and wouldn’t work at all. I want to return it.

Who in the world is JackLover?
The instructions were worthless. If I needed help I was told to email JackLover. Yes that is the email smh. Not a professional name. There was no way I was emailing LOL Found a lady on the internet with the little red triangle to help me put this thing together. I like the fact that all the backings were metal. I have to get some of those. I think for the price it should of came with enough to make 400 buttons vs only 100 buttons. It can be a problem for people who have nerve damage in their hands to squeeze the handle all the way down. It should of came with a clamp to connect it to the edge of a table or bench. I would probably purchase again but I would look for one with a bigger coupon.
