Just what i was looking for to service my 3 cup expresso moka pot , after started leaking at seal , i included pictures because its hard to figure out size of gasket both gasket and screen fit good slightly loose till first few uses

This is an aftermarket replacement for the natural rubber gaskets made by Bialetti. It is silicone rubber, so it follows that it should be more resilient and longer-lasting than the natural rubber.The gasket I received is very slightly smaller in diameter than the Bialetti brand, and does not “wedge“ into place in the threading of the moka pot. That said, it stays put reasonably well and has produced a reliable seal at every usage. It has discolored a bit, but is easier to clean than the natural rubber gaskets and has no discernible taste.I would definitely buy this again.

Why are these Bialleti models assigned such odd sizes? I get it that they're Euro-Italian but if they're sold here in the US the inclusion of some useful sizing info seems appropriate. My model only says MOD DEP on the base. There's no indication how many "cups" it holds and I have no idea how large an "espresso cup" is supposed to be. So I have to measure and guess and rely on other consumers to post useable info. Somehow my measurements were imprecise and I ordered the wrong size. Is it too much to ask that the unit size might be stamped directly on the espresso maker? Even the packaging doesn't indicate the gasket size. It only says ¾ on it - whatever that is. And the Bialetti website is useless. I tried four different brick-and-mortar retailers including Sonoma Williams, Target, and Bed Bath & Beyond and none carry these gaskets. Meanwhile, I've posted photos here showing the exact measurements for this product. Good luck.
