Perfect grip
After having this grip for over a year, I can confidently say it was well worth the money. Perfect fit for my Apple Pencil, has held up well to a year of doodling, and it helps keep the wrist cramps at bay much longer. Didn’t take long at all to get used to the grip, feels natural in my hand and didn’t slow me down.

Game Changer
I ordered this grip and a slightly cheaper pack of 5 assorted variety grips on Amazon to finally try to figure out if there was a comfortable way to hold the pencil for drawing. I tried holding it a few different ways but ultimately found the bigger end to be my vastly preferred way to hold it.I’ve been drawing on my iPad a TON recently and the for me the Apple Pencil just as it is by itself, quite hard hard to feel comfortable using for drawing and I was struggling with it more and more and honestly getting frustrated recently. So I went to see if there was anything that could remedy this discomfort and voila this grip solved all my issues and more! Not only does it make the pencil SO MUCH more comfortable to use for drawing but it makes it easier to draw itself as I’m able to manipulate the pencil with more dexterity and control now so when I draw I get straighter lines and better flow. I didn’t even think of this being possible simply by finding a perfect grip for it!This grip in a second changed my entire experience with drawing on my iPad and I’m so dang happy about finding it. 😭Last thoughts on it are that the price is very good for its quality and design. The design having the slit on one side is so dang nice for getting it in and on instantly and for adjusting it in any way you may need in no time at all. Also because of the slit, taking it off to charge on my iPad is never an issue/annoying because it’s removes like butter!!I guess the only thing I could ask for would be more color options!! I’d love to get it in a couple fun colors!

Kind of tricky to get the hang of & pretty big for female hands
Figuring out how to orient the grip to my hands (i.e. where to place my thumb and other fingers) took some trial and error - maybe I'm just a little slow lol, but it was a little less intuitive than some other grips I've tried. I find that it's quite large but that has its benefits. I have pretty medium size hands and would say the fatter end is a little too big while the thinner end is a little too small for my own preferences...but the bigger end is easier to hold when my wrist starts getting sore from drawing/writing.The other issue I have with it is it is a pet hair magnet! Within an hour of taking it out of the package, it was covered in cat hair. Like other silicone stuff, it's tough to get the hair off too.Overall 4/5, not perfect but it'll do and for $12 I'm glad I took the chance. I expect for men with larger hands this might be more comfortable, but even for my (not even particularly small) female hands I find it is still more comfortable than without a grip, and actually more comfortable than those really thin rubber grips you can get packs of like four for $6 or whatever on here for, since it offers more of an ergonomic grip.

Happy Fingers
Fantastic if you have a habit of holding your pen in a deathgrip like I do. Definitely noticed that I can work for longer periods without my fingers and hand starting to ache. I even ordered a 2nd as a back up when I lost the first for a few days.

Outstanding Product but Can’t Recharge with cover on
I’ve been using the Apple Pencil holder for about two weeks. It is a good addition to the pencil IMO. Prior to my purchase, the pencil [which is slick] often slipped out of my hand and this product solved the problem. I like the ease of removing and adding it to the pencil, but it is still a nuisance to have to take it on and off. The rubber [or whatever] is lightweight for its size and VERY comfortable to use. It feels a little like silk. I like using it.The one downside is my pencil with the cover. doesn’t fit onto my iPad Pro for recharging. With the cover on the pencil I tried to pull apart the split and then attach the pencil. It didn’t work. I have arthritis so that probably made it harder; nonetheless, it did not work. There was one other problem. I ordered this product before along with 3 other small items. That pen cover never arrived although my account said it had. Contact with the seller achieved nothing. Check with the neighbors I was told. That didn’t work. So, I ordered another pencil cover. I think the cover is worth the original price, but it isn’t worth twice the price.I have now got more experience with the cover, but the on and off the pencil routine is getting old. The inability to easily attach the pencil with the cover on is causing me to use it less and less. Still, it does help with my grip. Nonetheless, I am deducting one star because extended use has dampened my original impression.AD2AD2

Saved my ipad from being turned into a paper weight
I was so ready to give up using my ipad because the pen and previous accessories were just impossible for me to go through an entire drawing session comfortably. I absolute LOVE this pen grip. I recommend it all the time to my artist friends, it's really wonderful. I ended up turning it around to use the thicker side as the main one I draw with. The opening for the finger just caused me to accidentally hit when I didn't need it (though I never really used it before anyway). It is a little difficult for me to properly charge with the grip on even though there's an opening, but that's probably because of my ipad cover. It's easy to remove to charge so it's not a super big deal, just something to keep in mind.

Eliminate sore fingers.
The design and functionality are exceptional. Say goodbye to sore fingers even after hours of drawing!
