Thule 934300 EasyFold XT 3B 13-Pin, Black/Aluminium

Fits in my boot, which was my main reason for purchase due to it folding which many others don't. Also due to the folding nature I can mount it completely by myself which I also needed. It's nice and sturdy with plenty of ability to firmly grip tow bar. Can't fault it, fantastic piece of equipment! 😁

Great bike rack. I bought this for electric bikes and it is as steady as a rock with two heavy electric bikes on board.The folding nature allows it to be easily carried by one person and fitted quickly, great for storing as it takes up very little space. Top quality and very strong. Worth the investment, very pleased with purchase.

We wanted an easy to install, easy to use and robust carrier for our two ebikes. After much deliberation and research we decided on this Thule model and are we so glad that we did! I was surprised at how easy it was to install and how easy it is to use. However on consideration should i have been surprised by the quality of a Swedish product? No not really. Ok it is not cheap but you rarely get quality and cheap in the same sentence. Absolutely delighted with the Thule carrier.

I would rate this 5 star. Excellent and well designed bit of kit. Very quick and easy to fit to tow bar and to fit bikes. HOWEVER.................to have to pay extra £20 for straps that actually fit a bike with wide tyres (which is why you would buy this rack in the first place), given the high price of the rack anyway is simply a rip off. Also I did buy the extra loading ramp to wheel the bike on. At £40+ not worth it. Quicker to just lift the bike on (and my Whyte E150 is a heavy bike) than to slot in the ramp.

Having read the following 1 star review from Andreas it put doubts in my mind. I checked his opinion with the e-bikeshop and they reassured me it would take my 2 step through Moustache Samedi X Trail e bikes and so I bought it.I don’t do reviews but Andreas’s comments are so misleading that I thought I had to write just to help people who like me might be put off by Andreas’s review. Simply stated, it’s a great bike rack which takes my two bikes comfortably. No problem.“This bike towbar carrier has much to recommend it: clever design; it folds for easy storage; integrated lights; the wheel straps & buckles work really well, the optional loading ramp is great for heavy e-bikes; etc. The BIG problem is that this rack will not take my e-bikes that have an open 'step through' frame, and much wider frame section. The Thule bike arms have very limited movement/ articulation. After buying the Thule Bike Frame Adapter 982, and after much trial and error, I was able to load and secure my first e-bike onto the carrier, using the long Thule bike arm. This leaves me with the short Thule bile arm, which of course cannot secure a second bike. So at the moment this bike carrier is a an expensive and useless piece of junk sitting in my garage. Either I will have to sell it at a loss, or I have to spend more money trying to get additional bike arm(s) to fit both my bikes. I also had various problems fitting the carrier onto my car and campervan - but I won't go into details here. So you need to check this carrier will a) fit your car(s) and b) fit your bikes. BUYER BEWARE - TRY BEFORE YOU BUY !”

Great piece of kit, if your car is fitted with a towbar, takes seconds to fit, and is very stable, we carry twoe-bikes (extremely heavy bikes) on our towbar without any hassle, the drop down function allows you open the hatchback, even when the bikes are mounted on the car……. Well worth the Price……

Used this carrier a few times now and very happy with it. Easy to install and folds up for storage. Look well made and is able to carry heavy electric bikes. Only issue is that I have a couple of carbon fibre mountain bikes and I would not be too happy clamping the frames. I have however been able to clamp the rear shock and this seems to be the best option for me.

When buying Thule products, you get what you pay for, and whilst reduced thus was reassuringly expensive. Sturdy, well built, clever and easy to use, I am very comfortable loading a couple of fairly expensive bikes onto it. One point for consideration is your exhaust configuration - I have an SQ5 with quad exhausts and whilst not yet an issue I felt it appropriate to add some heat shielding to the plastic on the rack to ensure complete protection. I also bought a separate carry bag to keep it neat and tidy when stored.
