Liquitex 4450237 Professional Spray Paint 400 ml, Iridescent Antique Gold

I absolutely love this Liquitex Spray Paint! No harsh smell like other diy store brands, perfect coverage, dries fast and the finish is really beautiful. If you made a mistake it can also be easily corrected while paint is wet as it’s water based so you can just wipe it off (from hard surfaces). When paint dried, I was also able to easily remove any excess paint with a little solvent. This matt black actually gives a nice matt finish unlike some other diy store brands. I’ve used it to paint all my bathroom faucets from chrome to matt black and the result is beyond what I expected. Highly recommend any Liquitex spray paint - and this black in particular- to anyone wanting to do home diy or artistic projects.

As with the whole range of water based acrylic spray paints I've used, although they are low-odor and water-based when used with a mask in a well ventilated indoor space, it's pretty noxious until it dissipates. Drying time is pretty quick, 10 minutes per layer for me. I left one can half used and didn't clean the cap, the can didn't work after that. My mistake.

Did so well I think twice before using any other brand. Coverage is good colour strong matches the colour on the collar of can well so don’t have to worry about colour match.

Great quality spray but after a few uses the nozzle get clogged up. May be an idea to take nozzle off after each use and put into a jar of warm water to wash any paint out?

I used this spray paint to spray paint MDF and 3D print objects for my architectural model and it applied beautifully. This was my first time using spray paints and this made it very easy to apply. My model had etching to it and the paint didnt get inside it either. The colours are stunning and match the swatches online. I recommended this to my classmates and they loved it too.

Worst spray paint I've ever used. This was for a pre-primed MDF panel that I built into a table tennis table top for my teenagers. I followed all the instructions exactly, and have prior experience at using spray paints without these issues. However, the nozzle repeatedly blocks, and same issue when replacing with an alternative from a known good spray can. After lots and lots of patience and various techniques to get this to work, I ended up cutting open the can (after depressurising) and applying the paint with a foam roller. Lots of mess and potentially dangerous, but I was out of options and had a deadline to meet! Amazon refunded the cost of a second can I asked about returning (I bought 2), but I didn't bother claiming for the original as I couldn't have returned it in that state, and I did get a kind of use from it - just didn't expect the "should've been 20 mins job" to end up being a very messy 4 hours!

Used on a BMX bike fork. Carbon paint matched perfectly.

Colour is much brighter than expected but still nice. Sprays well. Good finish.
