How long is the spout from the center of the pump body? Can the pump handle be switched from the left side of the pump (as pictured) to the right?

The spout is about ten inches from the center of the pump body. The handle could be reversed by removing two bolts at the top of the pump and rotating the top 180 degrees.

Is the spigot threaded, so that you could attach a connector and a garden hose?

Can you use it in winter?

We used ours all winter but we live in the south so i wouldn’t know about northern states.

I had an old pump broke looking to replace it. Will I need hose to drop down in the well for it to work?

My pump installer used white pvc pipe with threaded coupling at the top, where it connects to the pump. I haven’t heard of using a hose. There are many videos on YouTube regarding hand pump installation. Best wishes!
