The maximum height of the new standing desk is 46 inches; the maximum height of the old standing desk is 43 inches. The new table has a lot bigger area on its tabletop, which dramatically reduces subliminal fear of the laptop falling over the back edge of the tabletop. Also, there is a lot of remaining space for other things such as a book or some paper. Also, a clip-on light is able to clip on to back edge, near a corner of the desktop.It has two legs (and feet) and they do not get in the way of my legs (and feet) because they are off on the sides, whereas with the old table, it only had one leg and it was right in front of my legs. Also, the old table was deformed; the concavity between its feet was facing towards my left instead of towards me.This new standing desk is quite a bit more stable that the old standing desk.A note about step 10 of putting this together; the underside of the desktop did not come with a pair of pre-made holes to screw into them the two “D” screws for the button pad. I had to place the button pad in a target position, mark a couple of points on the underside of the desktop under the button-pad’s screw-holes with some black marker, then hammer a nail through one mark, then remove it, then hammer that nail through the other mark, then remove it. (Then hammer slightly thicker nail through the first new hole, then remove it, then hammer it into the second new hole, then remove it.) Then a couple of “D” screws were able to go through those new holes without a problem.A note about step 9 of the putting-together: the screwing-in of the first 8 “D” screws (attaching the desktop to the supporting plates) was no problem. The screwing-in of the last two “D” screws for this step turned out to be puzzling/perplexing; this part did not work out. However, now that the desk is up and functional; that perplexity and skipped sub-step does not appear to be a problem.For step 12, I used one of the cable ties to attach the cable connecting the button-pad to the motor to the underside of the desktop. (The remaining three cable ties, two “D” screws, hex key “A” and wrench “G” went into a Ziplock bag along with a labeling 3”x5” notecard, to go into my “Tumbolia” drawer.)Having my forearms sprawled over the desktop while I am standing and typing this feels amazing, what else can I say?

I love this table!!! I put the 2 hooks on one end that were supposed to go on either end. Perfect to hold my embroidery hoops. However, I am hopeful that i can order 2 more hooks to place underneath on the same end but on the inside of the leg to hold 2 more hoops!

Perfect desk for a smaller desk. My boyfriend put this desk together for me at his house so I can have a space to work. It comfortably fits a large monitor, a num pad keyboard, a keyboard, a mac, a journal and a mouse.It is super sturdy and the mechanics work super well, just as they should. It was easy to assemble, and light enough for two people to easily carry it up a spiral staircase.

Looks like a nice table after opening it. It's size is definitely not accurate. Smaller than what it says if that's an issue then beware. Also the thickness of the desk is thinner than expected but does feel like it's a good piece of wood.After like 2 days of using this product I am happy with the desk. Works well feels good quality. Instructions should be more clear or have a video on how to install because it is a bit confusing. Feels sturdy and of good quality

Great desk! Very sturdy. Looks good. Assembly was kind of backwards but that's okay. In other words, we did it backwards but we just improvised without taking it all apart again. Functions well and it's not noisy at all. Can preset the height for sitting and standing. Quality is good!

Seller: Responsive and supportive.Table: Quality, works great so far.Assembly: Fairly easy, but the "plastic cover" which is a like a baffle that goes over the metal track to hide it (under the desktop), does not really attach properly and will fall off. I suggest using your own screw with a larger "screw head" to keep it securely in place. The screw they give you has too small of a head to keep it on. Once you assemble, you'll know what I'm talking about.

Perfect sit stand desk for what I need and for $100 can’t beat it. Got the 40”x24” size
