I am wondering are there anything else needed with this if i want to hold the fifine k658 ?

Because the 3/8’’ to 5/8’’ adapter(the golden one) is already screwed on the boom arm. You’ll need to detach the microphone from the tripod first, then attach the shock mount to the boom arm.
