Q: I want to fix to glass mosaics; drilling 2 holes may not be the best option. Is there a recommended adhesive (that won't damage the tiles)?

Hi. I have used grohe adhesive 40915000 designed for exactly this reason. Seems to have worked to attach. Very easy. I have not attempted to remove the adhesive but it states you can. Imagine would take a bit of effort.

Q: Anybody have this long term and advise how the dispenser holds up? Does it react with the soap and go green after a period of time?

Had it about 6 months and still looks great and the same as when I first fitted it. My only slight criticism is that it doesn’t hold all that much soap and needs to be re-filled every 2-3 weeks. Holds about a third of a large carex soap bottle. Would still recommend it though.

Q: Can anyone tell me the dimension for the hole centres for the fixing screws please? The cover plate diameter?

35mm between centre to centre for holes. 6mm holes for screws. Diameter of outer metal cover plate attachment 54mm. Inner attachment piece 52mm diameter. I used the grohe adhesive on some of these instead of drilling (electrics in wall) and that worked very well as a substitute.

Q: How many ml of liquid does the dispenser hold please?

Just filled mine up, just under 300 ml

A quality product from a quality manufacturer

We have used Grohe taps for years in hard water areas without problems. This Grohe Essentials soap dispenser has the same Grohe look and feel but is priced competitively.

Quality dispenser

Had bought a tiny Grohe basin for our cloakroom so wanted to match it with the dispenser. It arrived with excellent packaging. Am so pleased with the quality of the whole dispenser. It was easy to fix using the screws, although a little awkward tightening them up with the Allen key onto the wall. It's very efficient so have refilled with a cream rather than a liquid soap!

Solid and smart

More expensive than some of the other soap dispensers on amazon. But a good quality feel and look to it. Glass bottle and chromed metal pump on top. Easy to install and solid fixings. Very happy and will hope to get a good few years use out of this.

Mechanism broken after 1 year
