At this price I just cannot see anything to complain about.I have had a $700-$900 Human Scale Freedom Chair for 20 years. Nothing lasts forever. It finally needed replacement. Reading reviews, there are a lot of bad choices out there. I wanted something comfortable and good quality, definitely not junk. I may have found it right here in THIS chair. Time and usage will tell whether it holds up. What I can say is this:1. Assembly instructions are good. There is a clearly illustrated instruction booklet and a very helpful video online. I believe both are needed. I still grabbed the wrong screws for certain stages. Some of it is my fault. Some of it is not quite clear enough instructions. The guy in the video appeared to point to an adjacent set of screws at one point. But at another point I was entirely responsible for a mistake. Just go slow and don't tighten screws to full depth until you are at the final stage with it all together and only fine tuning of screws is the finishing touch. TIP: If they seem too long and the part is still loose you probably grabbed the wrong screw.As it comes, assembly is not too difficult. It is sensibly unassembled sort of like a well designed pre-planned meal delivered at your doorstep where you just do minimal things and nothing complicated to cook it up. But I still made a couple of mistakes.2. Comfort: This chair is sturdy and glides nicely. When I picked it out I was focused on its strengths. I overlooked that this is a "Big and Tall" version. I just thought everyone agreed it was a study chair. The size is not noticeable. There is a woman in a video here who did not look swallowed up by an oversized chair. It is maybe 1.5 inches larger than a normal chair. Maybe it is identical in size and just stronger IDK. It holds up to 400lbs.It swivels quietly and I can sit without it creaking. The armrests are higher than I am used to but they are situated where you would rest arms as you type. My Freedom Chair had arms that lowered to become flush with the seat. I used that chair to play guitar and also to paint paintings on an easel in addition to it office functions at a desk with a computer. A chir with and without arms is ideal. With this one it will either be in the typing position or completely in armrestless position with them folded upward. There is no in-between. A mid position lower would have been useful. I am not complaining and I am not subtracting a star for it.Having assembled it and sat in it I can say I am happy and recommend this to everyone because there are a lot of junky chairs out there you could do worse buying. There was a $30 off coupon and I got this for $160.Quality is great. Yeah lift the the hood, open the horse's mouth, check the teeth and you can see a little evidence of the price this is selling for (i.e. stapled upholstery) but it does feel like it could last anyway if you take good care of it.

I’ve been looking for an office chair for a while now. I held on to my old chair for as long as I could before I finally had to send it to office chair Heaven. I never could find what I was looking for and price is always a concern. Finally, I find this chair…it’s perfect. Back support and sturdiness…check. Cushion seating where it doesn’t feel like I’m sitting concrete…check. Adjustable arms…check. Easy to put together…check. Value for money…check. I love this chair. I can comfortably work from home all week 8-9 hours a day and not feel like a truck ran over me when I need to get up. I can put the arm rest up and slide it under my desk and out of the way. Overall, the best purchase I’ve made for my home office.

I’m a big dude and I spent a lot of time sitting in a chair and these chairs are the best nice thick cushion good recline keeps your posture in good place. I recommended anybody that’s tall than 6 foot tall.
