A simple solution for recording telephone interviews for transcription purposes
Been looking for a software method for recording calls so we can transcribe them, but gave up and bought this.Had it working straight out of the box with minimal need for instructions. The bluetooth pairing to iPhone was easy. Recording a call was painless. Getting the files off the device was simple. The recording quality was good although the MP3 waveform was well into the red when viewed on Audacity, so was a little clipped.Only minor issue I had was with the USB connector being a bit tight on my USB dock and iMac. Worked fine on a Macbook though. Not tested battery life. So far, very happy though.

PR200 Bluethooth recorder
This is the best product I found so far allowing quality recording of cell conversations. Works just fine and as expected, but is a bit pricey. Pros: good quality of the record and clear sound; Bluetooth connection; easy switch on/off; might be used as a recorder or/and as a dictaphone or headset. Cons: A bit to small for a male hand; lack of information screen (probably not necessary); must be hold by hand during conversation.

Good recorder with a few faults
I brought this as I needed to record a few phone calls easily.First easy of use, it's very easy to use. Pair to your phone takes a few moments and then slide a switch and you are off. Super easy.Sound quality is fine and playback clear. So far so good.Only negatives are build quality for the price isn't great, very very plastic but in that design it's lightweight which is a positive.Lastly comfort when using it. It's like holding a pencil to your ear. So try that and if you get on with that you'll be fine

Put it to charge right after unpacking. Charged it ...
Put it to charge right after unpacking. Charged it for more than 2 hours. The led didn't go off or blinked. After unplugging I can't switch it on. No blinking leds, no sound, nothing is happening. Though my Mac sees it as external drive when I plug it to it and led lights during connection. What's wrong with it? How can it be fixed?

Works well, once I'd figured it out.
Bought as i needed to record some telephone interviews, and works well. One thing however is that the instructions are classic iffy translations. On the whole I understood what was going on, but it wasn't until I watched some product demo videos on YouTube that I was told a couple of pretty fundamental things, that may have influenced my purchase e.g. you actually use the recorder as a handset, which although OK is not easy or comfortable over a long call, Still experimenting so I might figure this out sooner rather than later, but for someone who usually uses a hands free kit this isn't ideal.

This is - good sound quality - far easier to set up than ...
If you're looking to replace a dictaphone for recording phone calls. This is- good sound quality- far easier to set up than a dictaphone phone recording- unnervingly light - it's small enough to lose easily.I bought it for a set of telephone interviews - works well. If sound quality if your aim, this is impressive.

Fantastic Little Recording Device
I needed to record some very important phone calls and wanted something that would clearly record both sides of the conversation. After reading the reviews about the RecorderGear PR200 I decided this was probably the best device for my needs and it didn't disappoint in any way whatsoever. It's a nifty little recorder (looks like something straight out of a James Bond movie!) that can be connected to your smartphone in a matter of seconds via Bluetooth and then can be used in place of your phone in the same way as a Bluetooth headset (although you hold the RecorderGear PR200 in your hand like a miniature mobile phone). I was totally blown away by the way both sides of the conversation are recorded and so crystal clear with no background interference whatsoever. It is worth noting, however, that it's best to keep your fingers still while holding the handset during a recording as it does have a tendency to pick up the slightest sounds, but that's not a criticism of the device, quite the opposite in fact. I love how you can set it to "Mobile" to record a call made on your phone or set it to "Voice" to use like a Dictaphone for recording lectures and stuff. For general recording on this RecorderGear PR200 with its 4GB memory will give you roughly 12 hours voice recording and up to 5 hours mobile phone recording time after a full charge. Anything recorded on this device can be transferred/copied to any computer with a USB port. Incidentally, this device needs to be charged via a USB port. I would definitely recommend the RecorderGear PR200

Works with iPhone
I bought this mainly to record phone calls on my iPhone. Connected device via bluetooth, made a call with the phone, the call then switches to the device, and you speak through the device rather than your phone.Pros.Easy to connect and operate. No additional costs for storing or listening to recorded calls.Cons.Picks up noise if fiddling with device (i.e. changing from one hand to the other) which is quite loud on playback.Datestamp on file is set at 31/12/2015 rather than the actual date of phone call. Haven’t found out how or if there is a date setting on the device.May be hard to hear the other person if you are in a noisy environment.Overall, I am very pleased with it. The recording is very clear. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a call recording device.
