Best aftershave by far.
I really like the club man aftershave line. I’ve tried the bay rum, I have tried the original club man. This by far is my favorite! Upon opening it, I automatically feel like I am on the pirate ship from the goonies. It smells like Warm wood, with citrus undertones. Picture a library, that is made up of cedar walls, and there are red roses on the table where you’re reading. It’s a phenomenal scent.

Whiskey & Woods - A Fine Scent
I've been using Clubman Pinaud for some time and really enjoy it as an aftershave but wanted to try something new. As I'm a fan of both whiskey and wood smells, this was a natural and, man, they hit a home run with this.My wife loves it and a female neighbor commented unsolicited how much she loves it as well. Some have said it has an "old man" scent. I disagree. I think it has a mature scent that doesn't smell like something college kids wear. Color me impressed. It does soothe the skin, it does its job perfectly and it stays all day long, albeit subtly.

It's strong!
Well I can honestly say this doesn't lack for strength. I opened the package and caught some whiffs. When I cracked the cap my head jerked back from the initial strength of scent. My mom is in town and said she loves it! My wife however refused to let me touch her pillow because she was afraid it'd rub off and continue to choke her through the night (this was freshly out of the shower). I'm also a clean shaven bald gentleman with a short beard, so maybe I didn't the 4 or 5 drops all over my head but that was also kind of the point! She also said I smelled like an old man and I'll be honest, it's the first thing I thought as well. This scent reminds me of the recently retired gents. It does smell great and if my wife could get over it I would probably be fine using the whole bottle. If she can't, I'll bring it to my office to use as an air freshener.

This stuff really smells great I wish it came in a spray but I guarantee you that I will definitely be a regular customer of this aftershave. Absolutely my new favorite

Smokey, powdery; worth trying if you enjoy other Clubman scents
I'm not a practiced aftershave reviewer, so I can't compare scents very well to base ingredients. I do have quite a bit of experience with Pinaud Clubman scents, so I feel like I have a good understanding of how Whiskey Woods falls into the brand's lineup. For me, Whiskey Woods has at two phases as it warms to the skin and lingers. The smell from the bottle is smokey and muted. As you apply, the smokey liquor smell is moderately heavy with just a bit of sharpness. For me, that effect wears off within 15 minutes. At that point, it maintains a masculine effect with faint smokiness, but mellow sweet (fruity?) powdery scent. To my untrained aftershave senses, it seems to lean towards the powdery aspect of an old spice for several hours. A light splash doesn't last more than 4 hours for me. Heavy splashes will last all day.I find it to be a good middle ground between regular Clubman and Special Reserve. If you didn't like how heavy handed Special Reserve is, but want something heavier than regular Clubman, this might be what you're looking for. This scent is very masculine. Although it hasn't been around very long, it does not have any resemblance to modern "sporty" (i.e. very sweet, aqua) scents you get with so many colognes. This is old-fashioned and a great variation on classic Clubman scents. It's awesome to see Pinaud introduce a scent that embodies old-fashioned qualities in a modern way.

This one didn’t work for me
My initial impression of this Whiskey Woods scent was positive. It immediately reminded me of my grandfather, back when I was about 4 or 5, who used to wear some after shave called “Nuts and Bolts,” which was packaged in a bright orange plastic jar resembling a “nut” or a “bolt” and to a 4 year old kid was one of the neatest things in the world. I googled the stuff and apparently it was sold by Avon. Unfortunately, my later impression after trying this Whiskey Woods scent was that smelling like your long-deceased grandfather is maybe not such a good thing after all. This stuff stinks. And the stink lingers. I eventually gave the 99% full bottle to a slightly older gentleman friend of mine and told him if he disliked it as much as I did to please throw it in the trash.

One of my favorites!
Whiskey Woods has turned out to be one of my favorite Pinaud scents. It's very similar to Cognac Neat, but I like it a little better. Most of them are pretty good, but this one and Classic Vanilla are just excellent.
