Provides a smooth and better finish than a brush mower but not quite the finish of a rotary mower. This model is great for small acreage of 10 or less. Flail Mowers are useful for jobs where you are cutting grass on uneven ground, high grass, weeds, brush, and small saplings. A flail mower doesn’t throw grass, instead it cuts finely and leaves the cuttings on the ground where it was cut making it an excellent choice for those places where you could cause damage by throwing debris. Good product after tightening every nut and bolt.
Needed to tighten every nut and bolt ,but does the job well...

It worked fairly well cutting my 4 acres of field grass.
As in other reviews, I had to tighten a lot of the nuts and bolts. The nuts and bolts are low quality and soft. I added a thick rubber gasket at the gear oil fill hole. Machining was very rough and it leaked w no gasket.
