Likes: easy to fit /decent value / game changing for a dark wardrobe / doesn’t have to be unscrewed to change batteries once fixed in placeDislikes: hinge has to be partially undone in order to fix the backplate, which can be quite fiddly / some fine tuning required to get the correct fit so that the door fully closes - a couple had to be fitted with the base plate reversed so the push button wasn’t too far forward.Unknowns - battery life, too soon to say. Ordered a full pack of replacement to have at the ready, just in case.No more fumbling around in the dark.

I like the idea a lot. The batteries you need are not "regular" but they're easy to find and should last a LONG time.The one snag. The screw you remove from the hinge to fit the base plate will be too short to use when the base is in place. And the screw they give you to replace it... IS THE SAME LENGTH.So you will need to obtain some screws with the same thread and head size but about 3-5mm longer. They are (well my hinge existing screws, and the ones supplied) M4.

You buy a product like this to make your life easier, not harder. This is a complete nightmare. It has no instructions, the "screw" provided is useless, and the shape of the bottom (concave) is such that you cannot mount it on a tape which would have been MUCH better than screwing (most cupboard doors are too thin).Straight in the bin

The media could not be loaded. I made the mistake of not checking the hinges on the door but came up with a solution...I bought some velcro command strips and attached them this way. I was able to adjust them as they were velcro to the right position too. So don't let the wrong hinges put you off!Nice bright LED lighting. Good value for money and would buy again if I even need more cabinet lighting.

Be good if they came with longer screws to account for the added thickness of the baseplate you need to install but they don't, they provided the same size screws that are already in the original door hinge that no longer reach the thread once the baseplate is installed.

The lighting for the cupboard are extremely well made. Don’t worry about using the screws to fit to the hinge, because this is not going to work. Just fix it to the timber using your own screws and they will work perfectly fine. You do need to order the batteries separately. Remember don’t rely on them fitting your hinges, as this does not matter.

Brilliant product. I had to improvise and mount them on a plastic block away from my soft close hinges since they do not readily sit on them but nonetheless I am pleased with my purchase. They may very well fit on standard hinges but I have not tried it. Just need to make sure you don't leave cupboard doors open or you'll drain the batteries very quickly.
