First jig was missing a part …looked like someone returned it and stole the part ,they sent me another right away . I love that jig. Takes a half hour job down to 10 mins. I’m keeping the one missing parts and making it a jamb hinge jig .love the price and the quality .

This is the best door hinge jig I have ever used. I absolutely love that everything is stored with the jig. No more having to find bits or other pieces. I am a scenic carpenter and hang lots of doors, all kinds of doors. This was so easy and intuitive to use i never opened the instructions. The bit depth setter is a great addition. My hinge fit perfectly. Highly recommend.

I can't complain about the price, but I can provide a heads-up on two items I found with this jig. First, the jig insert tends to ride proud of the guide surface when you are routing. It is high enough for the edge to catch the router guide plate. When this happens you have to stop and reset the insert. I now make it a point to tape the insert down before I start routing. The tape seems to have solved that issue. Second, you will find the included centering drill is not well constructed. Somehow I managed to drill off center holes a few times. The hinge mounted OK, but it is something to watch out for. Neither of these are show-stoppers, but are worth mentioning.

This device worked perfectly for putting hinges on six new doors I installed in my home. I wanted them to match with the hinge on the frame and they came out perfect.

If you have a couple doors to do pick it up but if you have a whole bunch of doors I suggest getting something that is a little bit better quality the stop block tends to pop out and you will go past your hinge mark the clamp only clamps in the center so don't tighten it too tight other than that the router bit is really good the jig it's made out of plastic so be very careful that you don't hit it with your bit or you will definitely destroy it

This does the trick. Easy to use, even comes with the router bit and there’s a place to store that bit on the jig.I prefer to use pre-hung doors but that’s not always possible.

This is a great tool. I read all the reviews and, yes, it's made of plastic. My advice: don't overtighten. It's not necessary to do so. This works great, along with the router bit and hinge-drill bit. Great value
