7inch CNC Motorcycle Headlight Housing Bucket with CNC Side Mounting Bracket 36-40MM Fork Tube Holder Clamps for Motorcycle

I have tried another set prior to getting this one, which ran a bit small for my forks but it came with a headlight that I purchased - I did make it work but I wanted something that would look a lot more factory. Searched Amazon for a bit and came across this set which came in many different sizes and looked very simple. Fast forward a few month, it was installed and I have put about 1k miles on it so far. It looks great, easy to install, comes with rubber strips of 2 different sizes, there are a lot of them in the box so you could stack them if you had to thus if you are not sure about the size, just go 1 up. Its been holding my 7 inch headlight no problem, very nice powder coat finish on it as well. Do not think I will need one of those again but if I do, Ill be coming back for this one.

I've been customizing a 1980 Suzuki gs850L and this bucket fits my led replacement headlamp perfect. All wiring inside the original bucket fit without crowding everything. Solid cast aluninum construction. Hangers are ok but could be better. The only negative i had was the bezel bolt holes were not drilled out. A 3/16 drill bit fixed that. Other than that this bucket is totally worth the price. I added a gold accent stripe to mine.

The finish quality is not great, the instructions are worthless, screws feel really cheap, mounting/fitting isn't good either.The clearances for installing the headlight are entirely too tight, I had to take a grinder to the outside perimeter of my headlight just to get it to fit all the way inside the cover. Which is also a terrible design, the headlight should be mounted to the housing, and not the cover. The little tabs that lock the headlight to the cover dont fit the way they're supposed to. They're notched to go around the alignment tabs on the headlight, except only one will actually line up with the tab on the headlight and then it throws the headlight off center anyway.Need better dimensions listed so we know how wide the mounting brackets are, in order to know if it'll fit mounted to the fork tubes. My tubes are about 1/2" wider than the mounting tabs, so I had to order spacers in order to even mount it. And now, with the spacers, I cant even make use of the little alignment/adjustment screw that goes into the bucket.Getting the rubber to stay in place while trying to get the clamps on took quite a bit of work, I had to essentially install each clamp multiple times because the rubber kept falling as i was trying to get them on. This could be fixed if the rubber came with some sort of adhesive to attach it to the clamps before installing them.Trying to juggle everything while manhandling the clamps to get them bolted to the bracketsand the headlight bucket, while having them postioned correctly, was also a serious pain.The big hole in the back of the bucket could use a rubber grommet, at the very least, to help protect the wiring going through it. It'd be better if it was a grommet that could actually keep water out of the headlight bucket, since it's made to go on something that's open to the elements like a motorcycle is....It does looke kind of cool, but not cool enough to warrant all the hassle of installing it. Honestly... if I hadn't dropped pieces so many times while trying to install it, which left scratches in the finish, I would've returned it. But, since I scratched it I will keep it until it starts collecting water or i find a better option for my custom install.

Good value for money. Fit perfectly.

The overall product is good quality. However, it didn’t come with instructions so kinda just had to figure that out but that wasnt really the issue for me. The issue for me is that it says it’s for a 7in light but definitely didn’t fit a 7in, I ended up having to grind down the inner lip in order for the actual light to fit

I hace a honda shadow and it works as expected, easy to install, looks great, fits perfect

I was missing 1 bracket piece therefore I was not able to use this product for what I intended.
