Small, sturdy, accurate.
It's got a slight feel and look of quality to it, small and robust feeling like a small plastic pebble, even the battery compartment has a threaded insert for the captive screw to keep it closed, fender have clearly not slapped their name on any old tat and it's just nice to see this kind of attention being paid on such a low cost item, regardless of what that item is/does. It has one button with a tactile response, and operation is obvious. Big clear display which lights green when tuned, with a responsive cent indicator. The tuning is obviously accurate, as they all tend to be honestly. My one gripe is the clip is perhaps not really big enough for 100% clampage on an acoustic guitar, and might pop off. Absolutely worth the £8 I paid.

A Fabulous Tuner
This little Fender FT-1 Tuner works a treat, I’ve had a few like it before but I’ve always given them away preferring the old Qwik-Tune with its plug in Jack option or its microphone option.Any way that Qwik-Tune was old over 20 years old easily so when I used it which was rarely it was just off so I noticed this here on Amazon & I read the reviews & it was a sale/purchase, it was a very good purchase! The tuner works on vibrations so the rest of the band can tune up or talk at the same time or the telly could be on if you’re playing at home & you don’t have to mute it or in both examples leave the room to get a precise tune. It’s articulated arm moves around enough so that you can see the tuning display screen easily if you’re tall or short, sitting or standing & no matter how you personally hold your guitar & at what strap length. It gives a great tuning & I’ve tried 4 of the 5 tuning modes (I don’t play the violin) & it’s been a joy to play with, I’ve also used it for Acoustic Guitars, Electric Guitars, Short/Long/XL Scale Bass Guitars, the Ukulele & it’s tuned them all nicely. It’s a great little product, I highly recommended it.

Great tuner at a great price
Great little guitar tuner that works with both electric and acoustic guitars. Very compact and can be left on the guitar without getting in the way. Despite the compact size, the info on screen is bright and clear. It’s so simple to use as well, simply tap the button to switch it on and off you go. Also comes with a battery fitted.

Good Product for Price
Easy to use, clip on and go. The unit picks up sound thru vibration so I had to find a sweet spot on the headstock. Once in place it works well but be sure other band members are not making a racket while your tuning as it can pick that and and get a little glitchy.Would recomend. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Fender quality
When it came in a small box and I opened it I was instantly impressed with the quality of the product. Well packaged, even comes with a battery. It has the Fender name on it and I found that reassuring when buying it compared to the plethora of other tuners.Having used guitar tuners that are plugged into electric guitars having one that just clips on to the top does make tuning a lot easier. It picks up the vibrations of the guitar to tune. It is very accurate, easy to use and also switches off. The clip to attach feels sturdy and once it’s on it can be pivoted to however you need it. The display is easy to read.

At last a tuner that is reliable for bass
I've used plug-in/pedal tuners for many years but they're such a faff, that in the last couple of years I've relied on the app on my phone (Fender Tune, funnily enough) - but, while it's not bad for guitar, it is constantly failing with my basses. A phone app seems unable to handle the very low notes, so I always ended up tuning my E string by ear once the G,D, and A were sorted.I'd looked at these little gadgets a few times but never felt the time was right - till Prime Day, when this one was reduced by about a third. Time to dive in.And now I'm wishing I'd got one ages ago. You slot in the battery (CR 2032) and then there's just one button - power it on, press to cycle through the different instrument modes (guitar, bass, even ukelele) and bob's your uncle. Clip it to the headstock, it is super adjustable so you can get it to exactly the right angle to be clearly visible.Hit a string and the display is blue till you get in tune, when it turns a lovely bright green. It's big and clear enough to be easily read on stage under lights.Handily, if you don't switch it off after use (just hit the button again!), it will switch off automatically if it isn't used for a couple of minutes, so you're unlikely to get caught out by a dead battery. Most importantly, it works perfectly with the low strings, E is just as clear and quick as the rest - using the phone app I could stand there for five minutes waiting for it while it kept saying 'pluck any string' despite the fact I was plucking away at the E like maniac, the app just wasn't picking it up!Overall, a huge improvement on phone tuning, more convenient than a pedal, and really cheap - what's not to like?

It's fender... It's obviously good lol horrible battery compartment though
Great as always. Not the biggest fan of clip on tuners but they're handy for on the go, I use it mainly for my acoustic, but works perfectly fine for electric unplugged too and my bass. It's handy light weight etc, a little flimsy though being plastic but it is cheap and more than affordable so can't complain, just be careful with it when stuffing it in your bag lol can imagine it snapping very easily.I despise the battery fitting though!!!!! Ugh What a nightmare... Dno if it's just mine was a bad one or if they're all like this but it was a right pain in the caboose. And really? ... A tiny screw just for a button battery case? Unnecessary. I don't remember them having these before lol... Annoying to say the least and impractical especially if you're on the road and need to change the battery and you don't have a child size screw driver on you randomly.....But it's accurate and works well! Fender as always dishing out good reliable products!
