Began the home made wine in this bucket. Subsequently transferred to a demi-john and is bubbling away nicely.

Exactly as described. Originally mine was supplied without the airlock. However 10 minutes after I messaged them I had a call from the supplier to check everything else was complete. They said they would post the missing item out and it arrived first post the next morning. Clearly a business who value their customers and go the extra mile. I'd definitely reccomend.

Does everything I need it to - cleans easy. It works better if you put some cling film losely around the top and then put the lid on - seals much better, they suggest petrolium jelly, but the cling film is much cleaner and can be thrown away after each use. Otherwise some of the gas gets out through the lid seal and it does't "bubble". I thought it wasn't fermenting at first, but once sealed it was fine.

Make cider in this bucket, and is great for the first fermenting process. Planning on getting two more of these in the near future.

Not quite as big as I expected but I'm sure it holds 5 liters. Unfortunately the liid is very difficult to get off especially if it's fullDoes the job when steeping but the lid broke when trying to remove so the air gets in, stopping the air lock from working.

A good basic fermentation bucket for making small batches of wine !
