Majestic by Springbok Holiday Gazebo 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle - Compact Box

Springbok makes some of the best puzzles. Their winter scenes are wonderful.

Love the challenge in finding the correct piece. Been working on this for over two weeks. Great for family activity during long breaks.

The puzzle is the quality I expect from Majestic. The pieces are too small, the erratic shape of the pieces make it difficult to tell what is an edge, the trees are too blurry. This would have been better as a 750 or 500 not 1000. I will not be keeping this puzzle.

I've been puzzling with my mom since I was 4 or 5 years old (now 36). In over 30 years, there are only two puzzles that we didn't finish and just put back into the box. One was a sky scene where all of the pieces were a nearly identical shade of blue. The other one was this puzzle with its two areas of trees and pieces that were all the same confusing blobs of blueish-greenish-white. We spent hours staring at these pieces and even resorted to the "try every piece in each spot" (the least fun sort of puzzling) and because of the oddly cut shapes (a feature I normally love), we still didn't make any headway. We eventually got bored enough to admit defeat and rebox it. On the plus side, the picture quality is great, the cuts are crisp, and the pieces are smooth, thick, and satisfying to hold. I love the glossy finish on it and it was a great, challenging puzzle until the trees took it to a level of tedium that was just too extreme for us. If I read this review myself and looked at the photos, I'd wonder what kind of simple creatures could fail to finish this puzzle and I'd say to myself that it doesn't look that bad. You have to experience the hours of staring at snow tree blobs for yourself.I still recommend it overall and hope that your trees go together with ease should you give it a go.
