Brioschi Lemon Flavored Effervescent Fizzy Digestive Italian Candies (2.2 lbs BULK)

These are an old Italian remedy for heartburn. Unfortunately, we cannot find them here in Georgia so our NY family brought us some when visiting. Thank goodness Amazon sells them! They taste great and do the trick. Great value, fresh, and very effective.

These have become our most favorite hard candies lately!!! They are soooo good and great to have right after dinner. The fizz you get from them is supposed to help with digestion. The italian lemon flavor is soo soo good. We have tried the orange and love that flavor as well!!!

These are the best! My friend got me on to these! Mild lemon flavor and then you get that burst! I grab these every time I have acid reflux! It calms the reflux in minutes! Great antacid.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with these. They are like a hard candy with a hollow center that contains the effervescence powder. As you suck on the hard candy, pretty soon a small hole opens up and allows the powder to seep out into your mouth and effervesce. They are the size of a large cough drop (but don’t have the menthol or mediciney taste). It’s like an all-in-one Alka-Seltzer, but the effervescence is lighter. There are 36 candies per package and only 9 servings. The package says a serving size is 4 candies but that seems a lot to me. I usually only take one—two if my stomach is still feeling bad. That said, I’m not sure if these are actually doing anything or if sucking on them just gives me more patience and my stomach subsides in that time. Still, I’m going to order more. I never liked taking Alka-Seltzer. These have a nice very light lemon taste, more like a palate cleanser and not too sweet or strong like Lemonheads candies or most lemon candies.

I’ve been on a GLP1 for 1.5 years and I always carry these candies with me. They help settle my stomach especially when I’m experiencing “sulfur” burps or nausea. It helps that they taste delicious!

While sucking on the lemon flavor a slow release of brioski begins to come out as a slow fizz like I remember tasting as a child. It soothes the stomach after a meal and tastes good too.

This is without a doubt one of the most delicious candies on the market. I love the light lemony flavor and the burst of citrus effervescence just when you least expect it. It tastes like real lemon. They remind me somewhat of the Zots candy from years ago (which are also available on Amazon), but these are even better! My husband has helped me eat up almost the whole bag, so it's going to be time to reorder very soon. They are also a digestive, which is a plus.
