The inner "foil" layer was much tougher than another reviewer said. It's more of a "mylar" plastic silver mirror kind of material. I only needed 15 to 17 feet, so I didn't mind ruining the end I attached to a rope for pulling through the hordes of black widows and rattlers. The insulation is as expected. I did tear the outer layer just a tiny bit pulling it with a rope I'd fish-taped through a confined crawlspace trench I had to hand-excavate. Attaching it firmly to the flanges worked well however the Hose Clamp, or Radiator Clamp style items supplied were some metric size I had no socket bit for. So, picture a guy on his back in dirt with spider webs hanging down trying to use a flathead driver on his drill to tighten a long long long clamp. One spider said: Hey, how-ya-doin?" I have patience. I attached it to one flange from inside the home, the other from underneath. Both ends were easier than expected. This is a quality product, but fragile as you might imagine. Be careful of it and it's tough enough and a good value.

Needed to extend a register in the basement and this worked for the purpose. Much cheaper than alternatives, but the material is a little think and tears easier than a name brand product. Worked for my purpose, but just be careful when slipping over the fitting.

Added new ventilation fans and upgrade to insulated exhaust tubes.

Good product, fair price. I opted for the foil wrap version in an attempt to deter mice from chewing through and it seems to be working so far.

not quite 25ft, more like 23.5ft. Used these for two bathroom vents Wish the insulation was more robust, it's pretty thin. let's see if it'll work. the gloves in the picture is not what's in the box, the video claims they are cut resistant, but what arrives in the box are cheap cotton gloves.

Perfect selection for portable air conditioning exhaust tube. We used it to move the air conditioner into the main living area. the insulation is needed as the air is hot and would be put back into the room throught a non-insulated extension. This allows placement 25' away from the exhaust window port. Fits a 5" exhaust tube and clamp bands secure it perfectly. I recommend this as a solution for portable air conditioner extensions.

Was very well made and at a good price. Had extra so sent this one back.
