Good value.
Good value set. I only needed the one size to bore out an imperial thread to fit a metric bolt and it did the job. Not sure if it would stand up to heavy duty use, but for occasional diy use it is fine. Neat box, and no apparent faults in any components. The thread gauge is handy.

Good value
I've re-threaded some damaged components with this tap and die set with good results. The taps and dies were sharp, precise and good quality. The tap and dies holders are fairly poor quality, but sufficient for occasional use. Overall, I'm happy with the set as it was good value for the price paid. It will be useful to have in my home workshop for occasional use. It's not professional quality, but that's to be expected at this price point. Having said that, it has done a good job on the two occasions I've needed to use it.

So far so good
I've used this set a few times now and it seems to be very good for the price! I have thousands of pounds worth of tools (mechanic) and usually only buy the best but I needed a set quick and thought id take a chance on these as next day delivery was available! I'm glad I did because they have surprised me... the steel feels solid and like it will hold up against tougher steel's and maybe even hardened but I'm yet to try on some hardened steel but if you're just cleaning up some stripped threads I don't think it will be a problem. If you can afford the expensive set then by all means get them but these are perfect for working on cars/bikes as far as I can tell.

Works for what I need
Probably not the best kit if you are a precision engineer, but this does what I need it to do very well. No breakages yet and sizes all seem accurate enough. Great for the price.

Gunpla Tap & Die Set (40 pieces)
This is an impressive little set but it has a fair lot in it. I comes with 2 sets of Taps and Dies if I'm correct. Different Lead/Pitch taps, etc I think is how u might describe them? I am very impressed with the condition for a set this cheap. Now I will always suggest u use a cutting oil with these taps bcos trying to cut them dry will more tan likely break them. Plus u should take ur time. I would also say to u when tapping a hole that u wind in slowly and then wind out, then back in 2 back out one, etc, etc if u get my meaning. These are not expensive Tap &Die sets so be careful and u will get a hobbyists great use from them. It's like any cheaper tool u buy. I fu treat them right and respect the fact they're not 3 or 400 euros worth then u will get good use from them. I will recommend these today haveing used them a few times already but with the cutting fluid.

Fine apart from the die and tap wrenches.
The set arrived promptly and in good order. The taps and dies are as I had hoped, but the wrenches are not as good as they might be. The handles are too short when trying to cut threads greater than M4, the effort need to turn the dies in particular for an M8 thread was a lot greater than I would expect. In addition, the ends of the handles have been knurled and have quite a rough finish. After I had cut a centimetre or so of thread my hands were very sore and I ended up having to wear a pair of strong gardening gloves. So basically, good taps and dies, pity about the wrenches. Hence my 3 stars rather than the full 5 I would have awarded them otherwise.

Poor Quality / poorly manufactured.
Bought this set to re-cut threads which I needed a M12 x1.5 die. When used it miss cuts thread as NO slot on die ( see photo attached ) which allows die to adjust to correct dimension of bolt. Would not recommend if you require a top quality kit.
