Works perfectly and automatically heats according to temperature chosen
Great product! I love how this little thing heats up my room. It turns on automatically if you configure it. You cna put the right temperature and it has so many good features. I recommend it for this cold weather. The cord is long enough .The room can get very dry dough if you leave it on too long, but that happens with all heaters. Make sure you are very well hydrated. The height is like a soccer ball and the with is slimmer.

Very Good
Heats an 11x14 room extremely well. Shockingly well.

Classic vs Digital
I have purchased both the classic (2 turn knob) and digital (display on top) variants of this heater. The classic I would give 5 stars and the digital 3.5. They both are very compact and produce good airflow and heat. The key difference is the clunky interface on the digital version. There are several modes and several temperature settings all of which are much more finicky than just setting the two knobs (one for how hot you want it relatively, and one for off, low and high). Another key difference that drove me nuts with the digital one was that every time I moved it not only did the safety pedal turned the heat off (good safety feature) but it turned the whole unit off (meaning I had to reset all the settings). Drove me nuts every time I wanted to reposition the dang thing. But the worst part was that with the digital one it has an added "cool down" timer where if you want to turn the heater off it does a 30 second cool down where it continues to blow air while turning off the heating elements. So once I'm nice and toasty I have to suffer 30 seconds of cold air blowing on me. I'll keep the digital one but if I had to buy again, I'd just get a second unit of the classic style.

Great product
This replaces a unit about 25 years old. The new heater works marvelously! I'm sure it'll pay for itself in 1-2 months. I no longer suffer cold hands and feet all the time in the winter. The old unit was blasted at full power all the time and never produced enough heat. I've set the new heater at 73°; and as it cycles on and off to maintain temperature, I'm now comfortable.

works great for my small office
this works great fir what i need. very powerful and heats up my small office. I love that i can take it room to room if needed. Turning off can be a bit tricky at first i need to hold down the butt twice then wait for 30 sec timer for it to shut off

it does the job somewhat
It does the job when it stays on which is most of time. The main problem is if dog tilts it , it cuts like it should when comes back erect it will not come back on. You have to press the on button to get start. It also turns off after it has been on for a while. I have not figured out timing, appears to be about 18 to 20 hours. These are probable minor inconveniences, but when your in your 80's it can be an aggravation.

powerful for its size
This little heater is so thoughtfully designed. Take a few minutes to read the manual; it's worth it. I love the multitude of safety features. I love how it directs heat forward in a narrow beam - nothing to the sides gets hot. If I position it right, by the time I'm warm and toasty the room is also comfortably warmer. I also use and love the fan function for noise.I wish it were made of something sturdier than plastic, that it had a reinforced plug, and that it remembered the mode you left it on when you turn it off and on again. Nonetheless, I recommend this to anyone who needs to heat a large office or small apartment. It's better at heating my apartment than the built in heat (pass through window unit) is.
