vey nice product. a little thick when you first put it on but soaks in very quickly and makes skin feel lovely and soft. seems to last for ages - I though the tube was empty 2 weeks ago but it just keeps going. use every day straight out of the shower. highly recommend. dont let the cheap price put you off.

Transformed my legs
Bought this product due to cheap price, good reviews, and had seen it mentioned positively in an article. I’ve been religious with this stuff, applying all over legs every morning after a shower, and every evening before bed. I’m on my second bottle and will buy a third. It’s simply been amazing on the really rough horrible dry skin on my legs. They are smooth and silky now. It hasn’t cured my horrible knees - yet - but we’ll see how they are in a few months. My first bottle got a bit junked up due to the thickness of the lotion, but it eventually sorted itself out, I think a good shake helped. The smell is nice, as others have said it’s quite almondy and also quite medicinal. Lasts ages, great price, contains glycerin which is key for moisture - give it a shot 👍🏻

The best of them all
If you constantly suffer from dry or cracked hands then Lotil is the cream you need. I have tried most of the over-the-counter moisturisers, as well as several prescribed by my GP and local hospital's dermatology department. None is as good as Lotil. There are two main benefits compared with the others:1) It dries within seconds so it doesn't leave your hands feeling slippery so that you daren't pick up a coffee cup in case you drop it.2) It can be applied to painful cracks and fissures without making you scream with pain. Instead, if you have cracked hands, apply a little bit of Lotil into the crack every hour. It doesn't hurt and the crack will heal at double the speed it would otherwise have done.It has a mild but pleasant scent and I would have preferred an unscented cream but that's a small price to pay for the relief I now get from Lotil. With regular use my hands are almost back to normal, something all the creams from my chemist, GP, and hospital couldn't achieve. Lastly, this 500ml pump dispenser is convenient and at a bargain price compared with the little tubes from high street chemists.

Really good lotion
I have tried so many more expensive body lotions that were supposed to do wonders for my skin. This one does the trick, it really moisturises my very dry skin. You put it on and it appears it doesn not want to sink in but suddenly it is all gone. And your skin still feels moistursed the next day. I can highly recommend. I have sensitive and dry skin and this works perfectly for me.

Smells like Germolene but works a treat
We first got this for my husband who gets incredibly dry, chapped hands over the winter (to the point where they bleed most days). He has found it to be a life saver for his skin and regularly puts it on as a night treatment of sorts. I have since started using it myself - particularly on my legs, which get scaly-dry in the cold. Here are the things we think you need to know about Lotil:1. It smells medicinal and not dissimilar to Germolene. It's not some luxury product which has been beautifully scented - it's a practical, effective cream.2. It takes time to be absorbed in. I slather it on my legs and it sits there for ten minutes before eventually vanishing. You need to know this if you're planning to attempt putting on tights or skinny jeans/trousers in close proximity to moisturising with this stuff!3. My husband dislikes the feeling of it and I know what he means - it leaves your skin with a funny feeling. Not tacky as such, but kind of grippy and rubberised (terrible description, sorry, but the closest thing I can relate it to). It's not a feeling any moisturiser has left me with before.4. It is a truly excellent moisturiser and really works wonders in dry skin. From a really poor state it can have skin looking great in just a few days.5. It's antiseptic and antibacterial so if you have any open wounds you don't have to worry about this causing any problems. There are cons to this product but I really feel the pros outweigh them. Though its best used as an overnight treatment it really is effective.

There's no miracle but it's helping
There is no miracle for curing dry cracked hands as I've discovered over many years of working outside year round. I've used barriers, emollients, steroids and so many moisturisers but there doesn't seem to be one that saves the day. Sometimes I'll get a new cream and it makes my hands feel better for a few days and then it's like the rough skin fights back and I feel I've wasted my money.I bought this large dispenser after trying a small tube which I used up within a few days. This large 500ml dispenser is fantastic value even though it's not a cure for my split fingers. However..... I'm using it at work after washing my hands and at home too (I've bought two of them). It makes so much sense as it does help and leaves hands feeling nourished. It's not greasy like 50% of the creams I've tried and rubs in quickly. There is a small improvement in the general condition of my hands and especially my finger tips. I'm stopping the use of my regular barrier cream in favour of this cream.I'm also trying some other creams which I'll be reviewing soon.If you're unsure about this, I'd still highly recommend giving it a try but buy the large 500ml dispenser as it's such good value in comparison to the little tubes. Some other advice, I notice after a few days of not drinking enough water, my hands get extra dry. We are what we eat and drink so keeping hydrated really makes a difference too.
