My first Gigabyte mother both since 1990s.
I am very impressed, great value AMD AM5 motherboard. Purchased to test out the Intel ARC GPU. So far not disappointed by the motherboard nor the Arc GPU with AMD 7600X cpu. A great combination. The B650 Gaming X AX has all than one requires for a decent value pc build that is AM5 compatible. I was planning on going to my usual watering hole for mother boards suppliers (MSI AND ASUS) for my main PC up grade but now Gigabytes will get a serious consideration. My children will inherit this machine when I am done testing.New games play’s really well with the Intel GPU but some of my older favourites like simcity deluxe, 2000 and sky line games are a mess probably due to lack of appropriate drivers availability. Windows 11 and ms products work flawlessly and ray tracing is a heck of a lot better than I expected considering how much I payed for the GPU. Oh the motherboard, I love it. Delivery of the motherboard was as advertised with no issues nicely packaged. Great service all together.

So far so good
Good mobo with plenty of features. No issues with instal or compatibility providing you do your research first. Just be careful with the plastic release catch on the GPU slot. Doesn’t need much force to release the GPU and will snap if pushed too far as I found out. I’m still able to push the catch down to release it so no RMA required.

Not enough fan headers
Could do with extra fan headers but it overclocks cpus and ram easily

Great motherboard, combined with a great processor and graphics card, makes a great gaming PC.Lots of external ports, easy to setup. Room for 3 NVMe drives.

Very fussy on RAM compatibility
Worked fine for 2 weeks with 64GB T-Force 6000Mhz, then just stopped posting and kept hanging with red DRAM LED error. would only occasionally POST with one stick, but had to give up and return it for MSI Tomahawk instead.

Great mobo but arrived damaged
Really handy motherboard to build on, mostly everything was configured out of the box and very good biosSadly the io panel of the board arrived damaged but it was okay to use anyway
