Great product and price

I bought a 30 pack of these hangers a couple of years ago and they were all good quality, they looked like proper wood and they were all smooth and felt well made, so now that I need some more I thought I would buy some more of the same, expecting them to look the same and be of the same quality, but unfortunately I'm left a bit disappointed.I have just bought two 10 packs of these same hangers and they are not the same quality as before, or even as each other. One of the packs looks similar to the ones I already have - they look like proper wood but they are not finished as good, and the other pack of 10 looks completely different... they look like cheap imitations, they don't show any natural wood grain, and they have rough unfinished patches all over them. I am in two minds whether to keep them and sand them down or return them.This company needs to improve their quality control to ensure all their products meet the same standards, because having read some other reviews they are evidently allowing some second-rate hangers to get through and be sent out to people.EDIT: Hangerworld have since been in touch with me. They told me they have recently changed suppliers after having on-going quality issues with their previous supplier, they apologised that some faulty stock got sent out and they sent me a replacement pack of hangers free of charge, which I have now received and they are better.

Frankly, whatever plastic hangers you get from a high street clothes shop will do the job. And they will probably do the job a while. Until you wash the garment a few times. At that point, you need the shape of hanger to be sympathetic to the shoulders etc.Once you have become used to using PROPER hangers, you will become a hangers snob. You WILL realise the true value of a decent clothes hanger. They last and last. They won't snap like the freebees thrown in with whatever garment you bought from wherever. They won't become brittle or cause 'edges' to form on that item that was hanging for a few months since you last wore it.If you are a plastic cheapie clothes hanger user, then decent, sturdy hangers will convert you.Elsewhere up here on Amazon, I bought another x20 of these same hangers (October, 2024 - whereas this first batch of x10 was December, 2021). I bought the second x20 because the rag-tag of hangers residing in my wardrobe shows up the substandard plastic variety for what they are - not as good...
