ClevaMama ClevaFoam Baby Cushion Prevent Flat Head Syndrome Breathable for 0 - 12 months - White 23x40 cm

I was very hesitant about buying this pillow because they say you shouldn't give a baby a pillow as it can cause SIDS. I went ahead and bought it anyway after reading reviews and as I know my son (he was 12 weeks when I bought it) is not a wriggler when asleep and if I put it under the cot sheet he would be ok.Anyway, I bought purely because he developed a flat spot on the back / side of his head and I was having sleepless nights waking up panicking that his head was on his flat spot as he favoured that side and even with repositioning his head constantly I was actually getting obsessed with it. After buying the pillow it's taken until now (hes 15 weeks old) to round out. I mean it's not perfect but it's a lot better and not as noticeable. Just can't wait to see the results after another 4 weeks.My overall review on this pillow is that it is amazing. It's thin enough with sloping edges to prevent any neck collapsing to stop breathing, the foam is breathable and even pushing my face right into it I can get more than enough air, the soft foam pillow itself is so comfy and my son loves it, and it's light and easy to pop into the changing bag to have at my parents when they look after him. Also there is a removable pillow case which comes with it.Everywhere my sons head lays down, the pillow is there. Great for bed time, day naps, nappy changing and in the swing / bouncer. Not so good to put in the pram as the pram straps get in the way to get it fully supported behind the neck and head.Love this pillow. My baby is 8 weeks old and has developed a flat head on one side. I didn't think this pillow would improve this but I was hopeful that it would stop the problem from getting any worse as I was starting to panic.Wow!! After only a couple of days of using this pillow, his head has improved immensely. I'm also making a conscious effort to keep him upright when possible, but with two other children I haven't time to cradel him all day, so now I don't feel as anxious putting him down.This pillow is so soft and comfy. I wish they did an adult size. You can see the foam Spring back to normal once his head is removed. No dent in sight. This might change as the product gets more use though as I have only been using it for a short time. You'd expect this to happen after so long with any memory foam product though so it would be expected. But I would definatly buy another one to replace if this happens and will be buying the toddler pillow too when he's old enough.I wish I'd of started using one of these from day one but its never too late I suppose. I have also bought the Clevamama wedge (reflux) and the car seat support all made with the same foam to help prevent FHS.I love Clevamama products. I wish I'd of known about these products years ago and used them on my other two. I can not reccomend this product enough!If you are buying to use in a Moses basket then buy the pram sized pillow as the baby pillow is a just a little too big and doesn't lie flat. My son is in his cot already so this hasn't affected me.

I do not write reviews often but in this case I think it is really worth it. Due to a muscle issue our (now 4 month old) son was not capable to turn his head to the right after his birth. As a result his head started to flatten on the left side. After a few weeks he was more able to turn his head but a lump had started to appear on the back of the head (due to the flattening) which made it really uncomfortable for him to lay on his right side. Our Osteopath recommended to use a pillow but the GP, health visitor etc. were not happy with that advise. Feeling concerned and a bit lost, I decided to take the risk after reading many positive reviews about this pillow and bought it. And I am so glad I did! The pillow is very light, comfortable, easy to breath through (should your baby roll over on this tummy) and wide; our son moves a lot in his sleep so the length was important. After a few weeks of usage the flattening has already reduced significantly. We take the pillow whilst travelling and the cover is easy to wash and dries very quick. I really recommend this pillow, if only I knew of it existence earlier, it would have spared me a lot of worrying :)

First I bought the Clevamama toddler pillow for my 7month baby not knowing they did one specifically for 0-12months. The Clevamama baby pillow is much smaller than the toddler pillow other than the size it's literally exactly the same. My baby moves a lot whilst sleeping and tends to fall off the pillow. However the pillow itself is very soft, I love the fact that it is nice and comfy and fits the shape of my baby's head. The foam it's made out of is great. In a nut shell a) its very soft and comfy - The downside is a) Price- I think it's very expensive b) The Smell- be sure to air it for a few days as you cannot use it straight away c) its very small- will not fit your cot and if your baby like mine moves a lot through the night the likelihood is the baby will fall off the pillow in a cot.

I don’t normally leave reviews but after 2 months of my 3.5 month old having 3 hourly wake ups and then getting worse, to the point where my baby was waking every 40 minutes I feel I need to. I know this pillow doesn’t say anywhere that it helps baby to sleep and it could just be a coincidence, but seriously, I’ve tried absolutely everything, spent hours laid awake at night getting tips off the internet to try and help my son to sleep longer, nothing worked. I saw a few other reviews saying this helped none sleeping babies to finally sleep so I thought for £14.99 it’s worth a try and my god he’s slept through!! I so wish I’d of bought this pillow sooner and saved myself so many hours of lost sleep, hopefully the sleepy nights continue.
