I am very slowly enjoying this paint by number. It requires a lot more detail than I expected. I don't think I've done a paint by number since I was a kid and I just wasn't prepared for the detail. In fact, it's so detailed and small that I got a magnifying light up lamp to help me out a little. I really do like it. It's fairly easy to read. It has a separate paper with the numbers and design on it, so if you paint over a number, you can still see what it is. I find that this is very relaxing, despite being a bit tedious to complete. I got this kit and one other and noticed that the age recommendations is higher on the other which has even more detail than this one. The paint colors are all present. They are all wet and work well. They even include a little cardboard piece to hold the paints in place which makes it easier than working around 20 different containers. My daughter says that the canvas quality isn't as good as her standard ones for painting, but I haven't noticed any issues with the canvas.

I got this for my little artist who likes to paint and draw all the time. I didn’t imagine that the numbers and details would be so small so I was surely surprised when I got it. My husband and mom said she’d be working on that for weeks on end. It’s a nice kit with everything that you need and the brush that comes with it is a pretty good size for completing the drawing. I just wish the brush tip was a tiny bit more precise or smaller on one end for the tiny details. other than that, it’s a nice kit.

I'm familiar with Ravensburger as a puzzle company, but I didn't know they did art kits as well. Since I really like their puzzles, I decided to try this kit.I had to chuckle when it showed up, because it sounded like a puzzle when I shook it. Upon opening it, I found a nice selection of clearly-numbered paints, a canvas clearly marked and ready to paint, 2 disposable artist palettes, and a double-ended brush.My only complaint about the set is, since everything is loose in the box, the brush lost one of its "sleeves," which keeps the bristles from splaying out, so one end of the brush won't be fine enough for detail. This is admittedly a minor complaint and I've got plenty of brushes already, but you may want to keep this in mind if you purchase this as a gift, and throw in an inexpensive detail brush or two with it.This looks like a fun, colorful painting, and I think I'll enjoy it and love the result.

I purchased the Boho Lion. I’m impressed! This kit has everything you need to make your masterpiece. Paint, cheat sheet, palette, dual ended brush, varnish to make sure paint stays AND a hanger so you can hang it up on the wall when you’re done! I love the fact that the canvas print is dark enough to see! Tip: I use a toothpick for the more intricate spaces, there are plenty!

My vision is changing and Im having a hard time sewing and doing crafts with small pieces. I had hoped that this paint by numbers kit would give me something new to do. Nope!!! The paint areas are really small and difficult to see if you have trouble seeing things. Im super bummed that I cant do it but I now have a nice gift for my niece.

Ravensburger does not disappoint. The quality here is top notch. I never expect more than I need, and I have always gotten what I hoped for. Everything is good enough to get a nice product with time and effort. This was a project I did with my 8year old daughter, and she had as much fun as I did.We have framed past projects she was so proud, and I suspect I might need to order another frame soon.

I ordered this and another, similar set for a relative. She finds them to be an enjoyable diversion, and she thinks that they have encouraged her to use an elaborate water color paint set that she was given and stored away a long time ago.I have seen the result of use of this paint by number kit, and it is quite attractive.I am happy I gave her these sets.
