I like that this is just clean protein without the other stuff. I tried this in soup and also porridge but I did find it altered the texture too much for me. So as part of my routine I mix a bit with water and shot it, then wash down with water directly before I have breakfast and lunch. It's easy to mix and doesnt clump. There is a slight veggie essence to it when you take it with water but that would probably disappear when added to a smoothie (I'm not a smoothie fan). Good value for money and obviously a popular choice from the reviews.

I love this product! I started using it after using a very good protein/meal replacement product that’s sweetened with Stevia and is vegan. I’m not a vegan but I’m not into whey. However, the protein shake I was taking was expensive. So I read the ingredients in it and one of the proteins were pea protein. So I saw this and thought save money. I now use 20 grams of this in a smoothie, which provides about 16 grams of protein then I add an avocado, 20 grams of mixed nuts, 60 grams of frozen raspberries and a very ripe banana for sweetness and energy. Then I have 2 eggs. This way I get everything I need from breakfast, being a person that works out a lot. This is my second bag and my new routine is cost effective. Sometimes when I’ve not taken enough protein I’ll add 10 grams of this to something. Also one bag costs me £20 and is plenty for 2 months. This is really handy and affordable for me.

Great product…. I use to add to smoothies. I got the pea protein version as I was afraid the hemp may be very strong! (I haven’t tried it but know the smell can be overwhelming) I am delighted with this as I add one tablespoon to my smoothie and it doesn’t affect the taste or Texture of the blend.Great value for money and I will repurchase this once I run out. I hope this helps others thinking of adding this into their routine.

I bought this due to being unsweetened. I've been finding it incredibly difficult to find a protein powder that has zero sweetener in it as all the sweeteners have a really bitter, acrid taste to me. I decided to give this a try since it was on sale & had good reviews & it was only ONE ingredient. I put this in my porridge, pancakes batter & yoghurt with some fruit. Can't taste it in the porridge or pancakes but can in the yoghurt but I like peas, but if you add a bit of cinnamon & allspice it's gone. Will buy this from now on & will get the bigger bag. The consistency of this is a really fine flour & doesn't clum. I mix it with any dry ingredients I may be using 1st or if adding to wet, like yoghurt, dust it in, in increments. Genuinely like this stuff, it's not the most protein dense, but the ingredients list are not a full paragraph long as it's only got one & I don't get any bloat from it either.

I thought the reviews about the taste were just whining.So the first I did when I got it yesterday was to try to make a protein shake. It was thicker than usual... But I decide to still go ahead. The first few sips were OK. It tastes almost like water... But you brain knows something else is going on. I added cinammon. It didn't make any difference.I tried taking another sip. Impsossible. It was too thick. And not easy to chug.Then I added 1/3 scoop of another protein I have. What a difference!So now I'm using 2/3 scoop of this protein and 1/3 of another just to make it drinkable.I know in the package it doesn't say you should drink it... But still that's what I'll do.I highly recommend this protein. It's the only one without harmful checmicals!

I've been buying this pea protein for the past 2 years with no issues. But for the last order I think something changed. It has a strong grass like smell and it gives me indigestion almost immediately, no matter how little of it I use. It's a shame as I used to really liked the product and never had any problems before.

I have seen many negatives reviews and it is very disappointing.Let me say this, this protein is plain, with no additives or colours so of course it won’t taste nice on its own.I found Pulsin over a decades ago when there was no crave for proteins or proteins bars and I was looking for a UK based company and for something truly natural that I can add to my food since I am lactose and gluten intolerant. This is just perfect.I use it in smoothies and soups and it tastes great. Since it is tasteless adding sweetener or honey or anything of your choice to add the taste you desire.If you are looking for something you can just mix with water or milk then this isn’t for you. Don’t blame the product but buy a product that fits your needs.I have not tried baking with it but again I am sure I will be happy with it.Bottom line, this is a great product for those looking for pure plant based protein.
