CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser 8oz(237ml)

I don't usually review a product unless I am impressed by it and although I've been using this product for less than a week, I could not wait any longer to write a review.This is the first CeraVe product I've used and I LOVE this cleanser!I'm on medication which dries and irritates my skin and my normal Boots Botanicals cleanser was not helping with this at all. I needed a gentler more hydrating cleanser to counteract the dryness and soothe my skin so, after much research I decided to give this a try and its perfect. It cleanses and removes makeup with no effort or rubbing and rinses away easily leaving my skin feeling very hydrated and soothed afterwards with no tightness or stinging. It contains ceramides and hyaluronic acid which are both great for your skin and has an MVE formulation which continues to deliver moisture throughout the day. It's also a reasonable price which always helps.Needless to say, I am very impressed with this cleanser and will be ordering again.My skin thanks you CeraVe!

Great product. Really helped clear my skin up after a few days. The price was brilliant compared to Boots and Superdrug and the delivery from Geraldi Goods was fast and flawless. Would recomend the product and the seller.

This stuff has literally saved my skin.I was suffering with dry, oversensitive skin that was flaky no matter what I did. Stung. My makeup looked awful on it. I was having bad deep sore acne breakouts that took forever to heal. Hyperpigmentation. Really blotchy and red.I resorted to using E45 rather than my standard moisterizer from acne.org and my skin was not happy about it. Left me stinging and scaly with a huge red itchy sore rash across my cheeks. And I thought enough is enough.So I bought this, im only 2 weeks in. Acne. Gone. Redness. Gone. Itchyness. Gone. Dryness. Gone.My skin hasn't been this smooth since I was a teenager.I now realise that I had been damaging the moisture protective layer of my skin with different cleansers I was using. I think when you have acne you spend so much time looking for new ways to remove oil, remove moisture, that you eventually are just left with skin that can become worse because you have nothing protecting it.The cleanser I wouldnt even say it removes everything. But clearly, thats not what I needed anyway. I use with Cerave moisterizing lotion. And (Touch wood) I think its sorted me out.

This was a decent cleanser, I think I'll keep using it.*** Pros ***- After using this even without moisturiser it ends up feeling like your face has been moisturised- This is great for sensitive skin, I've never once had difficulty and sensitivity when using this product- There is a good amount in this, and it goes a long way.*** Cons ***- The last bit of the cleanser is always hard to get out, a lot stays in.Areas to improve:- Find a way to ensure all of the product is able to be used.

I am content with my purchase. I use it as my morning cleanser and rotate between this one and an AHA one, depending on the day. This cleanser has the typical CeraVe smell to it - I enjoy it, but it's not for everyone. The pump dispenser provides a great level of control on release. It has a gel-like consistency with an adequate level of slip to it. It is refreshing to use.My skin type is dry-to-very dry and I wouldn't rate it particularly moisturising, but it is not drying/stripping either. Then again, the only cleansers I consider "moisturising" are oil ones, so don't let this deter you from trying this cleanser out.Keep in mind, I do NOT wear make-up & based on others' experience on the matter, this cleanser would not be appropriate for this task.I DO, however, wear sunscreen (a rather emollient SPF 50) which this cleanser struggles to remove. Having said that, one shouldn't be attempting to remove sunscreen products with anything other and oils, so it's not as if I were unpleasantly unsurprised or disappointed.All in all, it is an adequate cleanser for the purposes of cleansing and refreshing the skin, without the need to be a make-up remover.

I have never liked washing my face. There, I admit it. I hate having stinging, streaming eyes and skin so tight it could be hit by Ginger Baker with little ill effect (hands up who knows who Ginger Baker is?) Make up removing lotions aren't a lot better as they leave a residue in your eyes and if you use cotton wool it gets tangled around your eyelashes.I saw this on Youtube being recommended by someone of mature years like myself and I really am glad I bought it. It's really good value for a start, but it takes off ALL my make-up. Mascara, everything. No stinging, no blurry eyes, no drumskin-tight skin. Even my skin, which has seen many years' use, is soft and smooth. Like anothee reviewer, I shall be using this for a long time to come.

Really nice effective cleanser that removes most makeup / heavy sunscreen. Particularly effective with a clarisonic or face cloth for remove heavy make up and your face does not fee stripped afterwards. The cleanser has a nice consistency that doesn't feel like it is blocking the skin despite being moisturising and it washes off with out too much effort. Its a nice change from Cetaphil but not a dissimilar product. I much prefer the CeraVe packaging. For removing heavy eye make up I cleansed the area with bioderma micellar water first to break down the majority of the makeup and then went in with my CeraVe, which removed the residue and it didnt irritate my eyes (I am a contact lenses wearer and I had no problems).Im very happy with this purchase and I will probably replenish when I run out. I was also pleased that when ordering that the currency conversion was close to the retail price in the States which is brilliant for an imported product that is not readily available in pharmacies/chemists in Britain or Europe in general. Excellent value for money!
