Brilliant and an absolute steal at this price.
I bought this to replace an earlier version which I bought in 2015. It had been permanently situated on the roof of my van and had worked faultlessly during all that time. However, I live right on the North Sea coast in the far north of Scotland. The harsh climate has taken its toll and it didn't work when I tried it recently. I had no hesitation in ordering a replacement as the first one had served me so well. The new model is very similar to the old one except that it doesn't require USB power to operate. You just connect it to your TV as you would any other aerial. The new one will also go on my van which I have converted to a camper. The magnetic base is excellent and there is no danger of the aerial moving or coming loose when you are traveling. In terms of functionality it is just superb. The fact that the aerial is located on the roof of a large steel-bodied van really helps with reception. I usually receive the full list of Freeview channels. The other great thing is that it is omni-directional. There is no need to fiddle with the aerial to get it to pick up channels. You just position it; tune your TV and then watch. Absolutely no pfaffing. However, I think it is worth saying that I achieve such good results because the aerial is attached to a steel van. If you are thinking about trying to use this on a GRP-bodied van or caravan I do not think it would work nearly so well. It would be worth doing some research before you purchase. So, in short, if you have a steel-bodied vehicle that you need an aerial for then look no further. This product is brilliant in every way and I cannot recommend it highly enough. And it's dead cheap.

Solid quality airiel
Very compact solid looking little aerial. Is it any good though? In the past I've had mixed results with various portable aerials of this type.My experience of this one though has been very good. It's also easy to hide unlike some of these types of portable signal receivers and more importantly has up to now given me a good clear signal producing excellent tv channel reception. So I personally can't fault it.However if you live in an area with very poor reception it may or may not work as well so it may not suit everyone.

Not good in a terraced house
Did not work for me. Despite being at the top of the window I was unable to gain a good signal. My third attempt I caught 9 channels, but these were all blurry and not channels I had ever heard of. I live in a terraced house so perhaps blame that a bit, so perhaps avoid if you are the same. Leaving it with a few stars as it was very quick to install (plug and go), a tiny little thing so looks ok in a room, and technically did do something.

When it's good, it's good. But ...
My experience with indoor aerials (in different flats, houses and locations) is, well, a bit hit and miss. And this particular variation hasn't changed my opinion. In our current house, downstairs in the living room, it was hopeless. Didn't work at all. Upstairs in the bedroom it worked absolutely perfectly - including the full range of Freeview HD channels - strength 10. No idea why results in a mid-19th century terraced house should be so variable - but it is what it is. Possibly it's a combination of thick brick walls and/or pipes/electrical wiring creating a Faraday Cage ... maybe. Apart from that it's a solid, well made aerial on a small, but substantial base.
