Create delicious, homemade sweet or savoury waffles – ideal as an indulgent snack or family treat

After a few weeks of using this, I would like to comment on how fantastic it is. I bought onebut returned as I thought it was too small. I also thought a ridged grill would be better. Wrong on both counts. I tried three other brands/models. They were mostly plastic (one arrived broken). The grooved one was difficult to clean. So I reordered this Breville one. I've used it twice a day since. At breakfast I cook an egg, sunny side up (I put a silicone ring on alongside the egg so that lowering the top doesn't touch the egg. After a minute, I switch off and leave while I make toast. Perfect egg every time. Lunch is usually a toastie of cheese, chilli jam and some slices of spring onions. Delicious. Sunday mornings, I put 2 slices of bacon onto a sheet of greaseproof paper and fold the edges over to form an envelope. This keeps the fat off the grill ( not that it's a problem to clean, I just prefer to do it this way. The bacon cooks flat and crispy. Again, perfect and delicious.Then there's the cleaning aspect; it's so beautifully easy to wipe the smooth surface down.Finally, the grill is solidly made from mostly metal/ stainless steel.Best buy for a long time; I've hardly used other cooking methods.Oh yes, I'm using much less electricity. I live alone and resent using a family sized oven and grill. Ideal for up to 2 peopleTen stars ✳️

The Breville Sandwich/Panini Press & Toastie is a great addition to any kitchen. It heats up fast and toasts sandwiches and paninis evenly, handling thick fillings with ease. This 3 in 1 machine is well made and good value for money however 2 things to note. 1) it takes quite a while to get to temperature but more importantly 2) it DOESN’T have the adjustable height feature it promotes in the description and photos so is not brilliant if you want a deep filled toastie as all that happens is that everything spills over the edges making a mess that you spend longer cleaning up after than you do making the actual toasties as there isn’t that adjustable height bit it promises - it’s not even mentioned in the instruction manual so isn’t me missing something. I’ve added pictures of both the sides to show there is no switch that the description shows so definitely isn’t on this model!! So very misleading!

I bought this waffle maker after my previous cheaper salter branded one started having issues with the non-stick coating. I did a lot of research and this one was coming in the top 5 of most lists. I decided to bite the bullet and got it, and till now I am very impressed. It takes about 4 minutes to heat up and then 7 to 10 minutes to make two waffles, but they come out perfect and cleaning it is super easy. Overall a good purchase.

the product for the price cant be beat makes great toasties panini and theres no need to butter the bread u get a crispy toasted sandwich quicklythe coating is prone to scratching and u need to get silicon scraper etc when picking up the toastie. I like this product asfor occasional snacking its great and easy to clean with a damp cloth

I purchased this as a replacement for my old Breville which lasted 20 years! This one has removable plates which makes cleaning easy as can be put in the dishwasher.

Brilliant

This is a reasonable sandwich maker, however "deep fill" it most certainly is not. The plates have far shallower indentations than my old Breville which limits how much filling one can fit in a sandwich. I was going to give it one star but gave it three because the removable plates are a great idea and make cleaning much easier.
