It takes a beating and still survives.
I love this reel, I’ve already had four reels that have failed during surf casting. All it took, was a little splash of a sandy wave. But today I got accidentally knocked down while I was surf casting waste deep in water at the beach , I didn’t look and was caught by surprise by high wave while I was adjusting my bait. My reel was drenched in a sand filled wave. Previously, after that happened, my wheel would start making grinding noises when I crank the handle or flipped the bail, but to my surprise, I didn’t get any of that later I was able to wash my reel with a bottle of water and it function normally for the next two days I was fishing. I’m definitely getting another one.UPDATE- been fishing with it for several months now. I got one for my wife who has literally destroyed three of my previous reels. Her reel has survived, dragging through the sand, submerged in the crashing surf and being banged on rocks. Just a simple rinse with freshwater in a bucket and it works like new. I am truly impressed.

Good Reel, SMOKING Value
This reel was a great surprise when I received it.It looked great, the drag is just like another brands Super Stopper with Continuous Anti-Reverse. There is zero slop in the reels function and the bail is very smooth. I haven’t put a lot of hours on it but I have used it in the surf and it did great! EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with its quality for such an unbelievable price.

Solid budget saltwater reel
It does feel premium with a metal spool and metal handle. The handle screws in and that reduces any play while fighting fish, which I like. The bail closes snappily and doesn't show any lag at close. The clicker does have a loud audible, louder than my more expensive saltwater Shimano and Daiwa reels. The fighting ball is a nice touch. It doesn't receive 5 stars because it came missing extra washers to help balance out the line on the spool. Either they were already installed or they're missing as shown by the empty bag. With no notes or instructions about their inclusion, I can only assume they're missing. The manual is also not written very well. Only time will tell if it's truly saltwater and corrosion resistant.

light and smooth
So far so good. Smooth as butter and pretty light. Perfect for my light inshore/pompano jigging rod.

Outstanding Value! These are unbelievable!
I don't know how these reels are this cheap? I do reel repair, and have taken this reel apart. It has great components, very smooth, and beautiful. We'll see how long it lasts, but the way it's built, with proper care, it should last a long time. Super impressed with this reel.

Tough reels for sure
Decent reels for sure this is my second one I now have to. I was a little skeptical at first, but they seem pretty tough. They eat a saltwater trout up
