A very good sugar alternative.
I am cutting down on sugar and while this is quite expensive, it is an excellent substitute. I use it carefully and it seems to last a long time. It is rather like Demerara sugar with a similar texture and spoonful for spoonful is the same sweetness as sugar. It does not seem to have an after-taste. I have to admit thatit being formulated in Norway attracted me at first, but I’m glad it did!

Great in cooking, not in coffee
Ive cooked with it a few times and it melts in your mouth so quickly! Tastes better than most sweeteners but I think it needs cooking to get the best out of it. (Tried it in coffee and it was rubbish)

Takes alot for me to be impressed!!
Best sweetener I've ever tried - by far.And no nasties, additives or unnatural ingredients to bulk it out like many other sweeteners on the market. No horrid after taste either.Barely raises blood sugar, low cal etc.I found it to have 90% the same texture and taste as brown sugar which is pretty good going given it isn't brown sugar! Yes it's pricey so I definitely won't be using it in baking but I'm using as an alternative in my coffee, porridge and hot chocolate instead of brown sugar.I would say it's about 85-90% as sweet as brown sugar. Will definitely buy again.

I love it!! Wonderful sugar substitute
I moved from the States about 8 months ago. I have been on a Keto diet for years. I used Lakanto, which I love, primarily for the vast majority of dessert making, most especially with chocolate . But it is super expensive to ship to Ireland. I knew that Sukrin, specifically the “brown sugar” verison, has been popular with many Keto recipe bloggers. The Sukrin:It smells amazing- like brown sugar. The texture is like brown sugar. I used it to make creme brûlée for my sister and partner who do not use sugar substitutes. I don’t know if they even realized it was not sugar- they never commented and loved it. I’ve used it to make hot chocolate and offered it to guests who want sugar for their tea. My mother loves it and uses it. I can’t detect and aftertaste or a cooling effect.I definitely will be trying the “white sugar” as well. I know that one is used with stevia and while I love stevia for certain things I can’t stand it with chocolate- the flavor profiles do not go together for my taste buds. (I also know I am not alone in that opinion.)

It tasted great in my coffee
It tasted great in my coffee. It had not a cooling aftertaste nor was it bitter. I cant believe its only a calorie per spoonful.I looked up natural sweeteners and found nearly every one has cancer directly or indirectly indicated and nearly every one has a high glycemic index reading which causes our body to try to filter out sugars in our blood which are simply not there ,and eventually shuts down the insulin levels causing our bodies to stop filtering out real sugars when we consume them in foods etc. Which causes weight gain and diabetes. Only stevia did not do this but it tasted real bitter in mycoffe and wasent worth it.guava nectar was a cheap honey substitute and is still sugar.Honey is the only natural vitamin sweetener but again it doesnt taste good in coffee. Fermented corn starch is natural and my body is designed to deal with the processof breaking this sweetener down. It tastes as sweet as sugar and youll need two teaspoonfulls. It costs a bit much but for dietary and health reasons I will continue to buy it.great item!
