Does anyone know if this soap stings the eyes?

I am always careful to rinse well but have not had any eye problems.

The pH-value of Calendula Soap is strongly alkaline (pH > 10). That is typical for all “real” soaps. "Real" soaps are produced by saponification of natural oils (mostly vegetable oils). This means by boiling vegetable oils with sodium hydroxide. Therefore all "real" soaps have a strongly alkaline pH value (>10).

Does this soap leave waxy residue on skin?

I don't feel any wax residue, I use this one for eczema and dry skin and it is really good.

Can I use this soap for a newborn?
