My daughter is doing quilting and other sewing projects. She is 9 and was very intimidated by a "full size" iron. After reading about a ton of styles of mini irons I came upon this. She has done amazing with it. It's very light weight and she is able to press the seams apart. We also plan to use this for our iron on vinyl projects as well. I love the rubber pad she can store it on while heating. She likes that it has 3 easy to choose settings. This has been put thru the ringing for about a month and has held up to the challenge. She has ironed straight material to get out wrinkles, has ironed on fusible interfacing to material and seams to open them up on her quilting squares without a hitch.

This is perfect for small projects. It is just the right size to add iron on backings and small designs to faux leather projects. It gets super hot, so it’s easier to use instead of breaking out my big heat press.

I love this mini heat press. I use it to press vinyl on sleeves when making shirts. Level 2 for 15 seconds 2x and they come out perfectly! Heats up quickly and remains at temp. I put my hand on the base and put my body weight on it to get the appropriate amount of pressure. I highly recommend for small projects.

Works well with the wooden seam roller. Great size so I don't have to pull out my full size iron all the time. Fits on my sewing table and easily kept out of the way. Heats up fairly quickly as well.

I love this heat press! It is very easy to use and great price. I used this to iron on a patch for a small project on a pillow and it turned out great!

I purchased this for my elderly mom who has trouble with a full size (heavy) iron. She still insists on ironing her clothes every morning and this has given her the ability to do that. Not the intended use but a great alternative. 😉
