I have been travelling throughout Mexico for a little over 1-year and when I initially arrived in November 2023, I brought 10 of those pastel colored portable hangers that have 2 folds in them (very different than these). Upon unpacking when I arrived in Mexico, 3 of these other hangers arrived broken and I had to trash them. Then, 1 by 1, the others kept breaking even sometimes from just taking a t-shirt off the hanger. They were horrible! But THESE here.... are the BEST! I bought the 6-pack and have been using them for 3 months now. They are ultra durable and I don't see where there is even a possibility that they could break with normal use and travel. I have travelled by air and bus with these without any issues or damage. They are compact so you can tuck them anywhere in your luggage without taking up much space. Do yourself a favor and just buy these, I wish I had bought these in the beginning!

Overall, I have used these are going on campouts to hang uniforms and for hotel stay to hang nice shirts.They are fairly sturdy and fold down to packable size.They are large enough that my size large shorts are supports in the shoulders and they have slots to hang other items.The only possible issue is that in some hotel rooms, the closest rod is too large to hang these on. So you sometimes need to use a door handle or other hook to hang on.However, for travel, these come in very handy.

Bottom line. Happy with purchase. You’ll need to be creative to make them work for typical American closet-rod dowels (about 1.25 inch diameter) or to hold pants. See my hacks below to work around these limitations.Pros. Well made. The rivet holding the plastic together appears to be stainless steel, and so far has not rusted while using it to dry wet clothing. It folds to a larger form factor than other Web offerings, but this simpler foldable design should maximize its longevity as there are fewer points of potential failure. The plastic has sufficient flex to minimize accidental breakage but has been sufficiently sturdy to hold shirts and dresses, whether dry or wet.Cons. The hook will not fit the typical 1 1/4” to 1 3/8” diameter closet-rod wooden dowels found in most typical American homes or hotels. They will hold just about all garments except pants or heavy coats (see my hacks below). They come in a mix of black and white rather than a single color. I’d prefer the option of all black or all white, not 3 and 3.Tips:1) Fitting a 1.25 inch closet rod. Make loops from twine that will drape over a 1.5 inch diameter rod. Next, wrap the twine loop over the rod, bringing both sides together. Finally, feed the hanger loop into the twine’s two bottom loops (at the bottom of the dowel).2) Holding pants. Get the cardboard pant hangers from the dry cleaners - the ones that are metal on top with a cardboard rod on the bottom. Remove the cardboard rod. Feed some twine through its center, then tie off either end of the twine to each end of the hanger. The cardboard rods take up little space in luggage. Pack the number of cardboard rods based on the number of pants you pack. Now you have one hanger to hold a pair of pants and a shirt.3) Holding heavy garments. Two hangers side-by-side will hold a heavy coat or heavy wet garment.

When I received these hangers, it was better and stronger than expected from the picture. I used to bring them to my clothes when I was about to travel. When I used them, I decided to put them inside. All the ordinary hangers are replaced, because it is more sturdy and can be folded. It can be stored without space when not in use, and I saw that it can be able to withstand high temperatures and cold in the merchant's product description. I try to bend them. I found that it did not break, and soon it would restore its original appearance. Very pleasantly surprised, thanks to Amazon, thanks to the merchants for making such a great product. (At the time of receiving the parcel, I was in the office, my colleagues also want to buy it when they see it.)

Lightweight & compact. I brought them with me on a couple of trips already. I mainly stay in hostels where you're lucky to even have one hanger.

I got these travel hangers at the same time as another kind. I will say that these definitely feel sturdier than the other ones I purchased. My main issue is that the hook seems to be slightly too small. I was unable to hang these from a standard sized closet/laundry bar. They are also a bit larger and heavier than others. If it was only the size/weight, I could figure that out. The fact that I also can’t use them on a standard closet bar means that I will be much more likely to pack the other hangers I purchased. If these had a better hook, they would probably be my go-to travel hangers.

I bought these but haven’t really used them yet, as they are a little more weighty than the others I have. But I will take them in next trip, where I will be doing more laundry over a couple weeks.

I Love how these fold up into such a compact size that they don't take up room in my carryon. They are a convenient "extra" for my packing and are very sturdy so far.
