Q: What is the deference molded or standard?

The molded has a plastic molded base and standard is all material. I prefer molded because my tools must stay dry and the molded base keeps the shape of the bag.

Q: will any of the pockets hold batteries and chergers for cordless drills?

All of the pockets are very tight. They work well for drill bits and accessories for dremel. I would say no on the battery. I tried to put my Makita 18 volt in the bag and it almost fit at the end on the outside. There's no way to secure it and the inside of the bag has to have the size of the battery available since when it is put in the pocket it pushes in towards the inside of the bag. I did not feel comfortable having the battery at the end. Any movements and I believe it would fall out.

Q: Does the 12 inch bag have the same amount of pockets as the 16 inch bag?

I have the 16-in bag not the 12.

Q: What is the deference molded or standard?

The difference is the molded bottom has a tough ridged molded plastic bottom that can be set down on the wet ground and keep things dry. It also holds the shape of the bag. The regular bag is all the same material, doesn't hold the shape of the bottom of the bag and is not waterproof on the base.
