Habit of Life - Exotic Rum Cake (680g) Christmas Special - Rich Plum Cake

This cake is really good for the price, can taste the spices and rum. Extra points for not putting tutti frutti. The candied fruits and peels are really good, could do with more but at this price level one can’t expect too much. Cake is fresh and soft.

Cake is Soft but bit dry.Quality wise good with rich with cashew nuts and berrys as well.But the packaging is poor with respect to the product.So 4 star.

Tried some from Amazon and reputated bakeries. This one has the most natural taste. Very good.

Packaging was great and was delivered earlier than anticipated, so that made me really happy. The cake was really fresh and delicious. Moist with real nuts in it. Absolutely loved it.

This cake is more sugary ,taste is ok, while eating the plum cake one big thing felt in my mouth when I checked it's something hard type things like any cockroach 🪳 type things so I clicked it's photo coz tiny legs are showing which will show in the photo then I stopped eating this plum cake,will not order it again and not any other cake after seeing this live ....

I loved the punch of rum that this cake had. I expected it to be a bit hard but surprisingly it was soft and fluffy. At this price, it is the best rum cake I ever had. Go for it guys.

Have been maverick of sorts from last year by ordering cakes from distant places through online. Hitherto, I was of view that it is to be bough fresh from the bakery after tasting it. Last year had ordered from Bharat Bakery of Kerala. Since this year that offering was not there is that I narrowed down on this one based on details given that they choose best dry fruits, season and soak it for a month and use best ingredients. By the way thought that HoL was also from Kerala. The cake arrived on time, it was very cohesive, smelling strong. I just took a bite and realized this was my best Plum Cake ever! And then I started reading the box contents and was so surprised to read that this Bakery is in Haryana. Too good!!! I would say it is all about the art of making it. Whatever be the place...Trying and eating is believing...By the way this is not paid review and I ain't no master chef.... views are all my personal ones :))) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. Actually, I ordered two cakes by mistake and while it was being arranged for dispatch once I though what will I do of two and let me cancel one...But for some reason, I didn't and now I realize that it was wise. Was not fully satisfied eating a proper plum cake this Christmas. Was looking for anthentic rum plum cake, after going through ratings and reviews finally found this to be good choice. The delivery was mentioned to be after a week but was sure of the taste and quality, thought it should be worth waiting. After waiting desperately for week. Got it delivered today, it worth all the wait and delivery charge . Taste is very authentic and yummy 😋 loaded with dry fruits. When I have craving for plum cake next time, I know which one to buy 👍
