This grow bulb is a fantastic value for the price! I have several in place and my plants thrive under them. Not aesthetically appealing but very functional.

Using this light on top of a grow rack with orchids and carnivorous plants in an East facing window. They get plenty of morning sun but this supplements the light after the sun rises. I’m successfully growing these plants, some of which are quite light hungry without any signs of burn so far. I mounted it on a terrarium light stand and had to zip tie the stand to the wire rack since the light would otherwise topple the stand. It does produce some heat and could burn you if you tried to touch the heat sinks on top of the light for too long but the heat produced under the light is perfectly reasonable and with a little air movement it’s no issue for the plants. The build quality of the light is outstanding considering the cost of the light. This is the 60W version and I like it so much I ordered the 30W for another area that needs slightly less light.

Gets a little hot but with no cooling fans that’s expected, nice and bright and the plants love the extra light

Powerful and amazing. Plants love it and it is much more powerful than my past Sansi lights. Screws into an existing light bulb socket. Make sure you have a good fixture for it.

They are extremely bright. Low wattage, easy on the electric bill. The top of it gives off a lot of heat. Screws into a standard light socket. I'm using it in the garage as a winter light source for some of my patio plants, on a timer.

Good to start seeds. Not for groth.

Its a great grow light.
