I've used corded angle grinders for many years and I never expected a cordless angle grinder to be worthwhile. I was pleasantly surprised that this angle grinder works amazingly well. With steady use, the battery will discharge after several minutes, so it's helpful to have a second battery on standby. However, for most standard applications it's worth not dealing with a cord getting in the way. This has plenty of power to work as expected.

I use these at work cutting rebar, with a wire wheel, and with a concrete grinding wheel on a daily basis. It’s a well-designed grinder that cuts and grinds very well. We have several, and they have all been in use for years, now. They are easily assembled, and switching blades and wheels is easy. Very durable grinder I used for years, and now I have my own.

Another quality Dewalt tool! Received it today along with some grinding wheels, and use it to sharpen my lawnmower blades. Very happy with this purchase!

I love DeWalt tools. I really do. I think almost every tool I own is a DeWalt. And this is a really good grinder. I wasn't even that irritated that it didn't come with a battery or any blades, because the 20v batteries are so interchangeable. The only issue I have is the extremely short battery life! And I do mean SHORT. A fully charged short pack gives you about 5 minutes of use on this thing. Switched it to the thick pack that I use on my chainsaw and that bumped it up to about 15 minutes or use. If you are a contractor or something other than a home improvement DIY'er, this thing would be a serious disappointment! Everything else about it, I love. The grip, the weight... But man, it sucks the life out of a battery!

Excellent tool. Brushless motor means no damage from water if operating in a wet environment or sand if dropped in the dirt. Trade evolution offers a tool only experance so I dont have to pay for cheep batteries/2A chargers/ tool bag that I don't need or will ever use.
