I needed a large sponge to paint bricks on a set for our Community Theatre. This sponge worked well after dipping it in dark red paint and rinsing it out after each use. I received a lot of nice complements on the set. I would send a picture, but can't figure out how to attach it.

This is a great firm sponge and it lasted for many uses even with excessive squeezing and wringing out the water. It holds its shape very well, and has bounces back after you squeeze it.

Just started using it, but seems great. Not a good value for price.
It's a very large sponge! It seems good quality and good absorbency. It's also soft and doesn't scratch the paint. I just starting using it, so I'm not sure if it will fall apart soon. It doesn't seem like it will, but if it does I will update.Basically this is exactly what I was looking for to wash the exterior of my car. It works as you'd expect it to, its a matter of liking the large size, which I do.I will update in a few months after several uses, when I can give better information about its durability. For now, I have not rated that.The problem I have with this sponge is the price. It's currently the same price for 1 as the pack of 3nin a different color from the same brand. That is not ok. It's not worth that. When the price becomes comparable to other sponges of its type, fine. But avoid for now. 2 stars off for making me feel taken advantage of with a price like that.

I am surprisingly happy with the sponge.I never thought about using a big sponge. I always used a rag or a mitt.The sponge is a good size, so it covers the area quickly. It is also just stiff enough that it does not flop around. But what I really liked is with the size I felt it actually protected by hand and knuckles better, like I wasn't worried about running them in to something or catching something. My hand was several inches above the car surface.The sponge was absorbent, but was also easy to clean and wring out.Today was the first with the sponge, and I can tell you I am switching over.
