This punch is made similar to many other brands, but is slightly less costly. It works well on most of the leathers I work with. Very satisfied.

Not razor sharp on arrival but sharp enough to easily cut the #2 grommet holes for the curtain in the photo: 4 layers of Sunbrella.Does the job.,

I have been using this steel punch combined with a smaller one to make leather washers out of scrap leather to use on my guitars.

Arrived sharp and ready to go straight out of the box. I use it to make overshot and over powder cards for my 12 gauge shotshells. I really like how the cutouts stack inside the punch and how easy it is to get them out once I'm done making a bunch.

As others have written, this item does not have a sharp blade. I will chuck it up in a hand drill and apply some emery cloth to hone the blade down to a fine edge.

I initially submitted a negative review because I received an empty package. Someone had removed the item a placed the empty package into an Amazon envelope and delivered it to me. Clearly either mischief or theft which really triggered my nastiness. Amazon replaced the item the next day. It’s exactly what I wanted and is of the highest caliber. I highly recommend it. I didn’t want to put the supplier in a bad light but I wanted the clown highlighted and replaced with someone who appreciates having a job.
