I absolutely love this eye mask. It blocks out all the light and the shape of the mask allows you to open your eyes look around and go back to sleep . 10/10

These are the only sleep masks I will wear because of the raised eye area. Much more comfortable than those without.

I have been using these sleep masks for over 10+ years now.I used to buy them at a local TJ, Maxx, but they stopped carrying them.This by far is the best sleep mask I have ever used. (And l have tried many!!)It is very comfortable, super adjustable and completely blacks out all light. Especially good for those who are "night owls" and may need to sleep during the day. Or anyone who has an issue sleeping during or with any light source.What is great is that the shape of them does not touch your actual eye but "sits off of the face" a bit, as it is "molded" that way.Very good for REM sleep or for people whose eyes tend to open while they sleep.The mask will not interfere because it does NOT toych your closed eye while wearing.(For the Ladies: l have used other sleep masks that have touched the closed eye while sleeping and found that my eyelashes were "bent" upon waking - because the mask had "crushed" them!! 👀)The Bucky brand are washable to a degree and also last a very long time.The colors are only on the exterior as the inside of all of them is black. The imprinted design is also only on the exterior as the inside part is smooth.They have a very large and long length of elastic band with a velcro end that can be adjusted to any size head. I do not like wearing anything tight (so l adjust it a bit loose) and yet it still stays on my head the whole night. I have never had an issue with it coming off while I sleep.My only suggestion is to cut off the little white tag that is attached inside next to where elastic strap is. It may rub on your face if not cut out.Comes in a reusable see-thru plastic "sleeve" that can be used to store or travel with. I have even used the sleeve to carry other items in when traveling.Most definitely recommend this great product to anyone who uses a sleep mask. Well worth the price!!

I much prefer this lower-profile version over the regular Bucky Sleep Mask, which is enormous. This one is still quite large (and I do not have a particularly small head for a woman). It does take some getting used to if you are a side-sleeper, because the mask will move a bit on your face and, being somewhat stiff, needs exact placement to block the light. It is nice to be able to blink, though, which is difficult with the flat silk-type masks. Also, I believe that the flat type do contribute to wrinkling around the eyes when worn nightly for extended periods.One major caveat with this mask (and I actually have experienced this with other sleep masks, as well) is that the Velcro will get caught in your hair. The first night that I used it, I awoke in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, and, when I tried to remove the mask, I could not because a huge clump of my hair was intractably snarled up in the Velcro on the strap. It took me 10-15 minutes to even get to the point where I could get the mask down enough to CUT the remaining stuck hair off. I was not happy about this, as I have very fine, thin, straight, long, all-one-length hair and so any cutting in random spots is very evident. I was, however, able to remedy this issue by cutting a strip of felt (any soft material should work, though felt is ideal) to cover the remaining Velcro which is exposed after attaching the mask. The felt (or fabric) will stay there until you remove it, thus preventing future hair entanglement and loss.Overall, the mask is the best one that I could find on the market (and I have tried many brands and types). It's not as comfortable as sleeping without a mask, but, if your situation dictates that you use one, I would recommend this one over any available others.

I randomly purchased one of these at TJMaxx one day and that day changed me. I LOVE sleeping with pitch black darkness and nothing really truly achieves this like this bucky eye mask. I swear I can stand out in the blazing sun with this on and it is pitch black. My favorite part is that it doesn't touch your eyes at all so it feels like nothing is there. Two minor downsides. The velcro on the back kinda rips up my satin pillowcases, BUT I've found that I can flip the band inside out so this velcro rests on my hair! AND the material begins to split into a few layers over time or if you wash it. I have to replace them about once or twice a year... Other than that, I love love love these so so so much! Can you tell it's my favorite?
