Rock solid!
I know there are cheaper lithium iron phosphate batteries available for RV use, I chose battle born for a few reasons: First, they were responsive to questions prior to purchase while others either didn't respond or gave nonsensical responses. Second, their batteries are designed with many cells, 120 I think, whereas others are usually only 3 cells — if there is a problem with a cell in the battle born it won't be an issue whereas in a 3 cell battery the whole battery is done until that cell is replaced. Third, the design of the cells in the battle born, IMO, seem to be a more solid & stable design especially for those of us changing elevations regularly (a big issue with AGM batteries). When I purchased there was a problem with shipping due to Fed-X. Battle Born customer service was great! They did what was necessary to resolve the problem and get the battery to me asap. The battery has operated flawlessly. I recharge it with two 100 watt solar panels and a Morningstar Tristar PWM — there's a standard setting for 14.4 volts which works perfectly, however I only charge every couple weeks or so therefore I don't use the other stages of the charger. I generally only discharge it about 30%, a couple times below 50% (according to whr use).I wish I would have gone with the battle born lithium from the start instead of wasting money and lots of time & energy messing with AGM and lead acid batteries. Best thing I've ever done for my RV!

WOW !!!!
I built a tiny house with wanting to be off grid at some point. I bought everything in pieces as I needed and could afford to for the solar. I started out with 4 deep cycle golf cart batteries and ended up buying a total of 16 . thought I had gotten a great deal because my nephew got them for me at his cost roughly $125.00 per battery. I looked at these batteries and thought a grand per battery thats insane! Well after having my 16 battery bank for about a year and not having enough storage to hold me over on cloudy days . It was ether buy more lead acid or bite the bullet and spend the money for these lithium. A little about my power usage if I have everything on electric on in my house I only draw around 16 amps. I have all 12 volt dc lights ,TV , and fridge . The only things on 120 volts are my computer and my propane on demand hot water. Now about these batteries :) cant stop smiling when I got them one was at 13.27 and the other was at 13.36 volts. I cabled them together so they were still 12 volts then left them over night to balance I was told I did not need to but did it anyway. So now I go unhook my lead acid battery bank and hook these two batteries up changing controller to what it needed. I did my normal things for the day that would have drawn my lead acid batteries down to almost bottom of a acceptable discharge .Now with these two batteries set up They charge up to 14.3 volts and at the end of the day doing my normal things they will only drop to about 13.2 volts. So in my opinion I wasted almost 2 grand on lead acid batteries. So if you are looking to go off grid do your self a favor and bite the bullet and buy these batteries worth every penny and more . If my electric needs grow I will most defiantly be buying more of these.

Great Drop-In Replacement for RV House Batteries
Purchased one of these to "dip my toe in the water" into lithium for my RV. So far I am very impressed! I will be looking to add at least one more in parallel soon to increase my capacity.First the shipping. It was shipped in an oversized box with plenty of molded-foam packing around it, so it arrived in perfect condition. I would not worry at all about damage from shipping with how well they have packaged it. The battery is then wrapped in plastic to (I assume) prevent accidental shorting of the terminals. What's in the box? Of course the battery, but also 5/16" bolts and nuts. I had overlooked in the description on their site that the bolt set was included, so I was concerned that I would have to figure out how to connect to the terminals myself. But no, the bolt set is included, you're good to go. I'd recommend using cables with 5/16" lugs rather than 3/8" to prevent it from wiggling. I also was able to relatively easily add a terminal-mount catastrophic fuse, although the terminal is a little close to the plastic so I wasn't able to orient the fuse holder the way I wanted it to. Not a big deal though.I am not sure of the state of charge when I received it, but if I had to guess it was around 50-80%. It still had plenty of juice in it to power some devices after installing it, and it didn't die on me after a few days in storage with minimal load. A few days later I hooked it up to solar and it's been running great ever since. The battery is nice and light. If you're concerned about weight in your RV, this is a great way to go. In order to get the same amount of usable capacity in lead-acid batteries, it would have added about 100 lbs. I'm happy that I can now double this capacity for just 30 lbs more weight. I'll update the review if I have any problems, but initial results are positive. While you might get more bang for your buck with a custom LiFePO4 setup complete with external BMS, this is so much simpler as a drop-in replacement for a deep cycle battery. The built-in BMS safety measures (under-voltage, over-voltage, short-circuit, low temperature, etc protection) put my mind at ease too.
