I initially reviewed it saying it had a vertical line that moves from left to right, but the issue was with the power supply not the camera. The company contacted me from my first review and seemed willing to help me resolve the issue. It was on my end and not theirs. The cameras are working as expected and the 5 stars are for the company reaching out.

This camera has nice, clear image in the daytime and is very good at night - one of the best I have ever used.

Horrible when zooming in. Has okay picture until zoomed in then it's blurry and very pixilated

The picture quality of this camera is average for a 5MP camera.The color NV is two white LEDs that create light in a close area. This allows the camera to not need the NV mode but only gives a short visible distance at night.The complete construction of this camera is inexpensive plastic and will probably not weather well in the sun over time.If this were to be used indoors in an area that can have a light on all night (garage, hallway, attic, basement, etc) then it probably wouldn't be bad.For the price though I would recommend looking for something else. 8MP cameras are available now for as cheap as $40.[EDIT]After conversations with this MFG they do state they warranty their products for 2 year replacement if there is damage. I've changed the review from 3 to 4 stars as their communication has been good and they make good warranty claims on their products. This does not change my concern that out in weather the plastic will wear and crack faster.[/EDIT]

tried to get it to connect to my 5mp dvr but it never worked as stated, I had to return it

Mounted to the side of our garage to have a view of cars coming up... already had wiring in place so installation was a breeze. It's not spectacular but better than I would have expected for the price. Seems durable enough to withstand average weather... time will tell on that! Switches light modes accurately and the angle is wide enough to capture our entire drive. Overall quite happy!

This is the second outside camera I purchased to replace ones that failed. The one I purchased last year had a DIP switch attached to a third stalk coming out of the camera. In order to adapt the camera to different systems you could change the position of the switches thereby changing the type of output. The new camera that I just purchased has no DIP switch yet the camera is still advertised as being able to switch modes from CVBS to TVI to CVI or AHD depending upon the configuration of the switches. The product picture also shows the DIP switch but the camera I just received does not have a DIP switch. Amazon's AI assistant says that the camera now automatically switches between inputs. I cancelled my return based on this information so I hope it actually works or I will be stuck.

Good little cheap analog camera. Says 5 to 8 mp but 5 was all I could get. Still satisfied with that. For the price they are well worth it
