Reasonably priced controller
I just have to say that this little controller works like a charm. The build quality is just perfect, with ideal locations of the connectors and the 7 segment LED. The on board LEDs are very bright and work exactly like they are supposed to. This little guy was easy to connect to my traffic light. It is so small you can easily put in in a small plastic work box and forget about it! This is just a perfect product. I can go on for days about how well it works and all the neat tricks it does.

Updated on my review.
I like the way it works as far as making it function as a "REAL" traffic light π¦ but the program does not match the display card, which is the reason why I give it 3 stars, which it's programmed to work like a US traffic light but the other patterns are not the same as the ones one the index card, which I am just getting through a few of them and renumbering them, example if it's supposed to be #2Red, flashing yellow and flashing green, and back to red. It's not the same it could possibly have that combination but instead of it being used in the #2 spot it might be in the #14 spot and yes it doesn't affect the overall operation of the light but you have to go through the process of finding out what patterns match what number is on the index card, which I thought it might be a little off and end up being in order to some extent, but I have been trying to get them labeled correctly and it is not easy, because a few of the patterns are very similar and after a few minutes you are going to be seeing red, yellow, and green every where. But it does work, for the most part.#Second review #I bought a new traffic light and that person had one of these in his and it worked perfectly so I ordered another one for my light π¦, I am happy to say that I might have gotten a bad one the other time, because this one is matching up with the program that is inside the instructions and everything else works as it should. So I give it 4 star and I would have given it 5 but I had a hard time out of the first one, so hopefully it was just a lemon π and if so I will have to say that you will be happy with this controller, (it's not programmable so you can't come up with your own flashing lights. But they still have over 25 different programs!Update on this controller, and I have bought other one and that's a total of 3 and the only problem was the 1st one and the pattern was different from the instructions and the patterns that were on the paper, but the other 2 are working great and the pattern is the same as the instructions, so other than the fact that you are not able to program your own pattern, is the only thing that is different from most of the other ones on the market, but if you are just wanting it to function as a real traffic light, this is the best way to go because it has plenty of preset patterns to choose from and I have a few of the other ones that I am able to program, but I don't ever use that option.

great
I was in traffic signal business 40 years and got to talking to cafe manage one afternoon about his early 1900 hundreds light just hanging. Suggested he light it up and so it would cycle rather than just hang with one color, found the control board and works great. He has other locations and talking about doing the same to all locations,

Easy to install and works like I expected
The media could not be loaded. My friend scored four 12-12-12 Durasig traffic lights and said he would give me one if I could make his functional. I opted to use this model board, the price was right and it looked like it was easy to program. My boards were correctly labeled (I read some reviews on here that some had the yellow and green light terminals swapped) and was very easy to wire up. It came with four self adhesive standoffs to mount it. The only flat spot I found that could accommodate it was at the bottom of each housing section. I chose to mount it under the yellow light in the same housing where the original terminal strip was. Itβs only eight wires to connect, two from each bulb and then line and neutral to power it. I did not mount it in any sort of weatherproof box since Iβm displaying it indoors. Programming was simple, just hold down the button for a few seconds that corresponds to the color bulb you want to adjust then tap the + or - buttons to set the duration. Time reads out in seconds on the display.
