Interesting puzzle
I have not yet worked this puzzle, but the pieces have a high quality feel and I’m looking forward to putting it together. There is writing on the pieces and I believe it is legible. All I need now is time and a place to work .

Good puzzle.
Good and challenging but not excessively so. Only issue I had was the puzzle was missing 2 pieces.

Missing One Piece!
The puzzle was a family activity to help in planning our trip to Ireland. Very frustrating to be missing one piece so unable to finish. We thought there might be a problem when we had five corner pieces (see picture). I wanted to send a note to the company to see if they would replace it but the option wasn't available. I certainly hope they see this review and help me out!If it wasn't for the missing piece I would have given the puzzle a much higher rating.... sturdy pieces, difficult but not ridiculously so and would make a nice gift. Actually, I bought two and gave one to my MIL for Christmas. I hope she does not run into the same problem!

The Old Country
Of course having Irish ancestors I was drawn to this puzzle. I enjoy 500 piece puzzles mostly because they are challenging enough but still fun to do. WHOA. Get out the magnifying glass - I tried 3 - and still had a tough time with "reading" some of the pieces. I was, also, frustrated that the fit of the pieces esp. the edges which I relish doing because they seem to be the easiest and for me give me a place to start without being overwhelmed. Well, I was unhappy to find several of the edges fit where they didn't belong. Of course, once the attached pieces were found, I could put the edge pieces in their proper place. My biggest "Wah, Wah, Wah" was the pieces themselves. Even looking at the box picture and comparing it to the pieces was not that helpful. I do wish the pieces were easier to read so I could learn a bit of Irish History without straining my eyes. Some of the pieces were fun to find like the animals, oh those darn faces, and some of the letters were cool. Anyway, with all my complaining, I still liked doing this puzzle and felt a great sense of accomplishment when I finished it. And looking at it then I thought, "That wasn't so hard".

Love this puzzle!
This is edited from my first review - since I thought it was missing a piece but I found the missing piece hidden under my couch LOL. This is the first of many Quarantine puzzles I plan on completing. I found this puzzle very challenging (I don't do puzzles regularly) but I persevered. A large map of the puzzle would have been very helpful to complete it but a good magnifying glass helped me immensely. I am framing it - it really is a lovely puzzle and it will look cool on the wall framed or Modge Podged.

Very interesting puzzle
Great challenging puzzle, very interesting to do. I gave 4 srars instead of 5 because the only reference picture was on the cover of the box, and i needed a magnifying glass to read the writing. It would be nice if a larger folded map was included. That aside, it is a great puzzle, very sturdy pieces.

Fun, informative - and no missing pieces!
Really enjoyed this puzzle of the map of Ireland. It was informative, too - with sections for Irish writers, Irish historical figures, and loads of historical information. Only 500 pieces (I usually prefer 1000 pieces) but that didn't take anything away from the enjoyment. And not one missing piece!! Thank you, Pomegranate!!!! You are head & shoulders above the others on quality control.
