Green Plum (Yeşil Erik)

A great snack when you want a little treat. It's crisp texture and sour juices are a great combination

Do not buy this if you ever had the real thing (i.e. Persian Plum, Papaz Eriği, Ekşi Erik etc.). The seller claims "It has a unique tart and sour taste" and "unlike other plums, it is very hard" however the stuff they sent was overgrown ripe plums that were soft and not tart. Since this species don't go sweet but simply lose the tart as they ripen, I ended up with tasteless mushy plums. Very disappointing.The seller does not have a money return option. Thus, I contacted Amazon costumer service and they were nice enough to give me a gift card for this purchase. However, it should be the seller's responsibility to pay back when the item is not as advertised.Ömer Fidan Bey, belki okursunuz diye demiş olayım: Rica ederim insanları kazıklamayın, kandırmayın. Amazon does not let me write more than one review for the same product so here is the update to my original review below: I paid 23$ for two pounds, shipping included, for this item last year late April. Now I have to pay 34$ for the same amount. That’s insane.It is a shame it is not included in Prime, which means one extra pound of it for me. Other than its price (expensive, for sure, but still the cheapest I could find online), the product was perfect; tart, juicy, perfect size. I made this purchase around late April, which is the perfect, very short period for the perfect size and taste. After mid May especially, don't expect the same hard, tart, juicy product unless the seller found a way to preserve the product harvested in the period mentioned above.

Update: What are these tiny marks on here? They don’t look like insect bites. So I’m quiet concern. They were really green and kept in the fridge. They are really small. I didn’t get that many. My coworkers said the taste was expected, they weren’t too sour or bitter.

I'm glad I got it, as it was something I had wanted to try for a while. It was delicious as-is and with salt and lime juice.

I purchased these plum because of the advertisement of them being "sour". They arrived sooner than expected (which I was happy about) but they were not sour at all. To be more precise they was tasteless. They weren't sweet or sour. I am from GA where we grow fresh plums and was very disappointed in the product I received. I will never buy from this company again. What a waste of $13.49 :-(

They were sooooo good. I received them fresh, crunchy and good. I saw that some people said they wasn’t fresh, so it might be dependent on when you order them. I received my order right at the beginning of May. I received them in like three days and an ice pack was included to keep them fresh.

My item was damage
