Honeywell HYF260 Quiet Set Whole Room Tower Fan, White

I bought this fan in 2021 when the AC in my apartment broke (and remained broken for about 6 months). It's still a staple in my house and I absolutely swear by it. Plug in and go - super easy to use. Somehow manages to blow cold air even when it's hot and keeps the room cozy.The little connector on the two base halves broke almost immediately, but again I've been using it for 4 years anyway and it's never fallen over, etc. Just be careful when assembling those two bits.

Purchased to replace a similar but older model. I'm impressed with the improvements made to this version. It's light weight and easy to operate. The controls on this unit are located near the bottom (the older version I had was at the top). It cools efficiently and quietly, although the top setting is a little more audible (but who cares). It does work very well in cooling a bedroom that has a PC and a PS4. The price is reasonable for what you get, in my opinion. I haven't used the remote because I don't usually need to change the fan speed. I like how sleek it looks, and so far it's rather durable.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Quieter than others according to reviews and it has 5 speed settings The fan is quite amazing. It functions like a much more expensive fan. The only thing I don’t like is the see through base. I do not like seeing the cord hanging down. Over all I am certainly glad I ordered it. Being hearing impaired the quieter speeds do not override the television or my computer. A good choice for me

Buying this fan was a great decision. I was looking for a floor fan that would cool our bedroom and this did not disappoint! I purchased something similar to this but gave it to my son for his apartment. This fan is actually better than my old tower fan

This is the third one we have purchased so we can have them in different locations at work and home. They all work great. Look nice and are easy to operate. I like that you can set it to run for a certain amount of time, which is perfect when going to bed.

So far it’s holding up and the speeds are good and it’s not too loud.The oscillation range isn’t very wide, but not a huge problem for me. Main complaint was assembly took forever and was a total pain. Seemed like it might break in the process. Instructions and pictures not great or helpful / accurate. Figured it out in a way that worked, but expected it would be so much easier.

I have these in all the bedrooms in my house. I like the multiple speeds and ability to rotate and set a timer. Having a remote to use from bed is a plus!
